Priorities

So I've been watching that bug list since the major update... and i havent really seen it move much, other then the fact that theres a new bug added what seems every hour.

Where are all the gm's?
It seems like sythc bella sanctum and beast are the only mods/gms that are doing anything, and they have the least amount of power


i realize that becoming a gm on here is like winning the "im so uber cool on the internet" lottery but lets be real...
this is kind of a business.. and when business is bad, you need to do what it takes to pick it back up.

Granted, we all know that no matter what happens on games, people will always stick around, and always be playing on here... and yes while it is a free server, people still spend REAL money expecting it to run smoothly enough to be able to enjoy the game normally.

I've been here long enough to know that this is by far the worst i've seen gamez EVER. alente is never here anymore, and even with his new promotion, i'll make bets that just keeps him away even more. aka the new carl.

I believe that there are a few gm's that actually care about this server and having this server be in its best shape. And they have no say or pull whatsoever

So my question is
Where are all the gm's who actually have power?
Angal i havent seen in weeks
Exi comes on only to post in "gms are so cool and awesome and we have so many inside jokes" threads. and alente ( i know about the computer problems) is mia since the update as well

Is anyone working on the problems?
Will that list ever be dwindled down?
Will the gm's start giving a **** again?



TLDR
Since the update games is falling apart and none of the kool kids klub gm's give a flying **** about it.

I think an explanation is in order as far as when we can expect to have all the bug's fixed since this ridiculous update.

i'm well aware of what happens on gamez when they do updates. but this is by far the worst i've ever seen it, and while i realize these am's and gm's have no pull (like i said in the post) the ones who do never get on anymore unless its to make a dance video or stroke the other gm's ego. there's only a handful that actually do their job. the others just stand around like they're kings waiting for the peasants to either give them a foot massage or do all the work for them.

i realize you may think you're totally cool for knowing that gm's can view the forums without people knowing but let me take that coolness down a notch and say that i know it too. and it has nothing to do with what im talking about. but gg on your useless post count.

 

Alente likes to lurk around in invisible mode and then pop in and post when he feels like it, and often ends up "stirring up the beehive" so to say, but hes actually been really busy trying to fix a lot of these bugs that pop up. Also keep in mind that he is the closest thing we have to a dev right now and he doesn't even want to be considered a dev.

Alente seems to be on strike. Or at least his user group says so. I missed that drama

EDIT: Never mind, its gone now. But it seemed he was a normal user for a while and had that as his user group

 

while im definitely not a game developer, i'm not an idiot either. i would think if there was work being done, that list of bugs would have a lot less to it if people were actually working on it.

to date only 1 (one) thing has been fixed in that list. unless they're not updating the list i havent seen it move since the launch of the latest update.

In case you're pointing out that you find his lack of activity in game disappointing than you I should inform you that he's the one that mostly creates custom patches for the server. In other words, he's currently taking the role of a Developer for Gamez.

I know the bugs suck, and the list doesn't seem to be going down unless some are getting fixed and they haven't been announced yet. Though they do take time to fix. I know Alente spent a LOT of time working on this update to begin with. I didn't even log in game last night due to the bugs and other stuff going on.

i realize gamez has a ton of drama considering the majority of people who are gm's are still in high school, or have no valid reason to be a gm other then being popular. but thats none of my business nor is it the business of the server as a whole. if there's dramz going on, they need to reevaluate their staff. because its getting old.

by all means, delete them. this thread is to put some fire under someone's ass to fix whats broken, not prove how cool at the internet you are.

 

I beg to differ, Gamez doesn't have as much Drama as it used to have in the past. It's quite an improvement, despite it being boring as shat.

The staff needs to be reevaluated, as you said, which I agree with and to be assigned specific tasks to each of them.

Anyways the point is, that the bug fixes are going to take time, and Alente is busy. I do know that he spent a LOT of time working on this update in the first place so its gonna take some time before every single bug is fixed.

And I agree with the staff evaluations. IMO every staff member should have some kind of feedback thread, and there should probably be an age limit for future GMs, such as 17 or 18.
