greatsword or spear for gladiators?

    I was just wondering which weapon was better for gladiators. I see quit a few gladiators using greatsword and even more using spear. I know what spear does high dmg but then again greatsword attacks faster and has a lower dmg gap as where spear has a higher one. I was just wanting to get peoples opinions before i choose my weapon. Thx in advance.

    i think spear is better coz of high top damge and glad has good crit percent so probbly ur crit will be higher than sword..

    Spear for PvE / Cause it's CAN hit bigger,and has better crit rate.
    Greatsword for PvP / Cause it's faster,has better parry,accucary,and it's damage less dispersive.

    true that abt gs, but spears are awesum :p.. i love to see my cleave reach 5k crit and then they say ima hacker LMAO xD

    i know but i often 3 hits sorcs rangers often with cleave combo only :)... burst damage is still my preference ^^
