Same as retail, the rankings scale based on other player's AP

There can only be one Governor, three Commanders, etc

Even if you have enough ap to initially qualify if all the slots are filled by people with more AP than you then you'll be pushed down the list.

We cant beat the players who farm AP 15M/day.... unbelievable right??? but its true.. i suggest u scroll the Individual rankings everyday Sir

 

Some AP rank pruning will be done today actually to a few users who were abusing a bug we've since fixed ;p

ppl used to make 15m ap a day when everyone was governor.. but not himm...
he can make it killing rank 4...

well lets make a madia of 20k ap each kill he get ok?? (rank 2 media of asmos ranking)
he made around 750 kills a day??

@ Alente and Ally its ok you can refuse to see the point players are making now by stating "its like retail" but it is not like retail as i said in my post about gear etc.

Realize that the ones who have the ranks now will more than likely never lose them because of the OPness of Diety form and so on (dont even get me started on the the Korea fighter guys farming so much AP)

So in actual fact the rewards for PvP have effectively been destroyed along with the enjoyment of pvp in essence. Once people actually click that this is the fact and that there chances of ever getting anywhere in the rankings or in pvp are next to 0 as the situation now stands im afraid for this server for the first time i am actually afraid for its future..

Those ppl doing that should be banned honestly the punishment for bug abuse (especially bug abuse of the core aspect of what gamez is all about) is way to lenient.

Sounds like a terrible idea, an actual reason to get AP does nothing but promote PvP. It makes the rankings actually competitive, before it did nothing. People are going to want to have Deity themselves. Stop crying and go PvP with a group of people and get it, the top 100 can have deity, so be better than the 100th person.

Edit: And I also have NOTHING BUT Anuhart gear, so I don't wanna hear anything about ABG. I may be able to get my FIRST piece of PvP gear tomorrow, probably just gonna get EAT since it's cheaper than ABG, but I dunno. Depends if they make EAT tradeable or not.
