omg i wouldn't know when the stop nor how to stop lol there are 3 area's i enjoy.. computers, biology and psychology.. its amazing how easily it is to manipulate people by using their emotions and thoughts against themselves. that last sentence might have sounded odd.. but it's rare to speak to others that are intellectually gifted. the only fault i've got is that i suffer from dyslexia.

Lol I love bio-psych <3 essentially biopsychology is the initial dive into the giant pool of water that is neuroscience...

then after that you can use a nano engineer to hook up the neurons and fuse chemistrys together to make the machine pick up the action potentials sent down the neuron and then use computer programms in the machine to translate it to engineered machine movement...

I'm already telling everyone here that, that will be the future for so much technology to bloom.

Hook up a radio to you're brain, implanted cellphone technology, replace perception receptors located on the body (such as a chochlear implant which has already been done), even replace entire limbs, correct movement... hell we could even theoretically transplant brains into entirely prosthetic bodies...

the fascinating thing is this is all REAL muahaha... who needs magic :3

Sadly we are still living in the dark ages... such as many countries actually still burn homosexuals at the stake...
    ._____________.

Unfortunately, neuroscience is not the answer to the anatomy of the body/brain. We humans are so primitive that our brains are no where near challenged enough to it's extent. Humans have become so much weaker, scientists back in the days believed that humans were on par with bears / cheetahs etc. Anywho since you guys brought that subject up I just wanted to bring something up, you ever hear of that man who had his brain severed in half losing his left lobe replaced with fluid. The man had the intelligence much higher than any of the gifted / geniuses. One problem, his brain could not differentiate between breathing and movement, so eventually he suffered from cns/sns displacement and died shortly after having his surgery from the severing of the lobe.

Funny enough, I love studying psychology now that you mentioned perception receptors just remembered I've had an exam on the brain a couple of months ago :).

it was all random just trying to prove my point of neuroscience :). Things that come into my brain right onto this screen. Got a problem?

Just brought stuff down that I remembered.

Really o_o? There have been many operations for example in extreme cases of schihtzophrenia in which it is very common to split the corpus callosum if not completely remove the entire lobe that is aggitated...

I can't remember the name of the video or girl but I remember that there was this yougn girl that was like 10 years old that had HORRIBLE constant seizures and she had to have an entire hemisphere removed to help treat it... slowly though due to neuroplasticity she began to regain her movements and abilities.

UNLESS of course you touch something in the hindbrain like the cerebellum or thalamus... now if you muck around with those then the person is screwed. :S

The man was screwed from start, and I think I do remember a video about a girl with one of her hemispheres removed it was during psych class I'm not sure if we are talking about the same girl but, they kept telling the mother that she is able to live perfectly fine with only one side of her brain performing, because the right side is the most important I do remember that so..

and I'm not using fancy words due to the fact that psychology wasn't my best subject but I know it pretty well. I'm more into the anatomy of the lungs and such.

    Let's talk about space :D

Remember the first shuttle that got launched into space and exited the milky way and got owned by high amounts of gravity? Damn us primitive humans.
