Why can I not use Infinite Aions as a legion name... I'm not trying to promote other private servers.. I just use the word Infinite a lot as it means boundless, or never ending... this isn't right that i'm forced to disband my Legion over it's name when other's have obscene names...

 

Well no one will allow you to promote stuff of other companies, imagine something new.

 

But I am not promoting anything.. I even own a game called dragonball Z infinite Realms... just because I like the word infinite and used it makes it wrong.

 

Infinite Aion is another private server,

Calling your legion by this name could and would be taken as a promotion of the other server.

Calling it 'Infinity' or '*******' or something like that would suffice.

And for an update Idea, make it where the lm can change the name of the legion without having to disband... hope they give me time to get ahold of my members before making me disband.. unless they do it themselves...

 

Straight from the rules. Even though you may not mean to advertise, it could still be considered as such. Like Sycth said, if you want to call it Infinity or something along those lines then it should be fine.

1. Advertising any other gaming network outside of Gamez or any type of advertisement of unapproved websites. This includes "subtle" advertisements (usually in the form of a reference) to illegal websites. Most mainstream websites such as Youtube, Google, MSN, etc. are approved and allowed. Please bear in mind that legion websites, Ventrillo servers and TeamSpeak servers however are excluded from this rule subject to case-by-case moderator evaluation.

 

I still think it's quiet unfair, but I'll do as I am told i guess.. don't want to get banned over something stupid as this ...

 

i think you can still you INFINITE PVP or something but dont put AION .. Or Translate it to other language.. since you really want the meaning of it

Maybe so, but it's still one of the rules and people can easily take it the wrong way.

Just disband the legion and re-create.

Fix our damn server and you won't have advertisement problems
You know very well that if Gamez Aion was better than how it is now , we wouldn't have advertisement problems.
But the server is Bad , so the staff is afraid that people will leave once they find another good server. (even if not better , they will try at least)
If our server was good , advertisements would be useless. Everyone would be satisfied and noone would look for another server.
I feel shame when i advertise our server at other servers , they all say stuff like "GAMEZ? LOL , The Admin there is offline 24/7 and donations are lost for nothing , the lag is horrible , the hackers and the bugs have no limits" and more bad things.

So let this guy name his legion as he wants ._. we have players advertising servers 24/7 in game , noone bans them. And some of them advertise them in the world chat too.

PS: I Know Inf Aion Sucks ass , i got alot of chars there... Just saying.

 

I dont care if people leave, this is only a game and a hobbie.

Not a business, its not like i am being paid for all the members we have or anything.

i guess it already been decided, even tough my intention wasn't to spam, I have no choice, which is cool I guess, Im not leaving the server to play other servers.. I've never even played infinite aion server... I just like the word infinite.. but their choice is their choice, As a game owner myself, I understand...

Sir... I did not say i was leaving.. now did i, I've never even once complained about the server.. just this complaint over a legion's name. I'm being understanding and not unruley... hwhat more could you all ask for eh?
