no ****ing gm online because they dont think before send a stupid gm aplication...

so fking lazy...

if u dont want to recive tons of pms do not send a gm aplication.,..
server need GMS not guys that just like a colorful name in forum...

 

Get evidence of people hacking and post it here to help the GMs do their job. They're not psychic and don't automatically know whos hacking and whos not.

dude i understand where ur comming from i do think gamez should get more gms but they do get bc so it would be nice of ppl to post the hacks or anything out of the ordinary here with evidence so dat the gms can see it and act on it =)

 

we diont need more gms...
we need not lazy gms...
if u call the police they will not need a ***cing evidence to invastigate...
gms are the ''police'' of the server... thats the real job of a gm... not keep joking with friends on forum talking about puppys and cookies...

i just think this answer is getting so old

not everyone wants to get on aion and record every single second of their game play
and if that is the only way to get someone banned for hacking then whats the ****ing point of having so many gm's?
he's right about one thing

people dont realize when they send in the app that this would actually be work. and i dont think its fair to expect the community to do all the work while the gm's just sit around and push buttons all day. or worse, make extra special dance vids.

Actually the GMs job is to to help the players with in game issues and investigate hackers/bug abusers first and do event second. They do what they can and they're not perfect but you can still help them out but getting evidence against hackers and posting in the reports section

 

I remember when I was GM I got yelled at by a certain someone cause I was acting like a cop...

I see your point and people need to be aware that being a GM is going to be serious work when they make an ap but at the same time just posting and going HACKERS EVERYWHERE! isn't exactly helping things either. Alternatively try whispering a GM ingame if possible if you suspect someone so they at least know who to investigate.

 

getting evidence aka what... following the hacker around and hoping he puts on a show while you're running fraps?
which believe me, from experience (and you know this well enough zan) fraps takes up a shit ton of hard drive space. so unless you're lukcy to catch a hacker by chance, the odds of hunting one of them down to record it long enough to get them banned is next to none.

if by investigating you mean watching someone elses hard work on a youtube video then i dont see the point.

i remember back when you'd be able to //gmlist and say

theres a speed hacker here

and within minutes the gm would be there in stealth and banhammers away.

You don't need to go out looking for hackers. I keep my xfire and fraps ready to turn mostly for pvp, and when I want to record it takes like half a second to turn on. If I happen to see someone acting suspiciously then I just pop it on and recored them for as long as I can. Sometimes they're hacking, sometimes they're not.

Yes, I agree with you that the GM's need to be available and shouldn't always be in invisible mode all the time and need to actually go out, do their job, and look for people. But at the same time, if you're able to help them, then by all means do so.

No one expects you to run around everywhere recording every single player and every little thing you come across, but if you have your recording software is ready to go, and you see someone acting suspiciously then hit record and see if you can get anything.

I know all about KLS and how he was abusing the Deity form, and even saw him do it first hand.(He actually killed me once). When he was watched he wasn't doing anything at the time, but if he keeps it up he WILL be caught and punished

 

i've done enough helping by donating. i expect better staff and better decisions on who becomes a gm.

 

I wish there were changes with how the staff was picked too, but I don't govern that.

now if i get all the evidences is not help.... is make the gm's job...
