Runescape or Runes of Magic?

Guys I know these two games aren't that good, and I am only going to play either one of them because I am incredibly bored with Aion. I apoligize that this isn't at all related to Aion, if you don't have an opinion please leave.

As far as FTP mmorpgs go - which is better, Runescape or Runes of Magic and why. Or should I play a different one and completely disregard playing either one.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

I am only going to play a FTP until a better MMORPG comes out in 2011. I decided to ask this community because I think everyone here knows games pretty good.

Well actually i haven't tried runes of magic.

But i played runescape around 2 years and it's pretty cool, but leveling up is boring, getting coins is boring, the pvp is like "hit - 20" "hit - 15" and you dont loose any items (only on bounty hunter, if you get killed you loose EVERYTHING you are wearing).

 

Ok so Runescape sounds retarded, I wont play either - know of any others that are any good? Please don't recommend Vindictus haha, its doesnt even have a free to explore realm. Its based on only instances, really stupid.

 

Hahahahahaha there's not any website game that is good, all of them suck. Just keep on aion or play lineage II or try counter strike/COD black ops/battlefield bad company 2.

 

Yeah.. It seems that way. I have played Lineage 2 and I didn't really like it, was a step way back from Aion. I have SC2 and BFBC2 - I didn't buy Black Ops because I heard it is complete shit for PC. The "dedicated servers" aren't working and crashes all the time. Unless its fixed now I'm not buying it.

I'm wanting a good MMORPG - I guess ill go back to Aion Retail, the 2.1 patch is a beast, its going to change the game for the better.

Yeah I'm considering getting an X-box 360 again, I sold my last one. Im thinking about getting the sleek black one thats $299, it has a 250 GB hard drive and comes with the Kinect.

Right.. right - who knows, I may just go and build my own PC and sit in my room facing the wall until GW2, TERA, Blade and Soul, or Diablo 3 comes out. Why do all MMORPGs right now suck?

 

lol I remember noobscape, every five seconds some Dbag would shout Hey, look everyone the game blocks out your password! ******* or would go Im a girl in real life! Who wants to be my BF and give me stuff!? that and the gameplay got repetitive, boring and lame. And there really wasn't a whole lot to do for free players

 

Yeah I wouldn't do MMORPG until one of the ones you mentioned comes up xD

Try looking into steam, you can buy a cheap game on there and it'll entertain you for a good time.

 

Ok thanks - I'll do something with myself haha, SC2 got boring really fast for me - considering games, I think I may be getting hard to please lol.

 

its been out in NA for less than 2 months i believe http://vindictus.nexon.net/ , its the english version of mabinogi heroes (korean i think not sure) its constantly being updated and only 3/5 possible characters are available atm. go watch some youtube vids of it, to help decide.
