R.I.P Hackers D:

As most of you know, over the past weeks, the legion "Hackers" went from an inactive nobody legion quickly erupting into a legion full of great PvPers, admittedly a large number of staff members, and a resulting mass of hatred from you, the players.

As we are volunteers, we do not want to simply give up our ability to have legit characters, but the path we were going down with community feedback of our legion was not a good one so we are now trying to resolve some of this.

Hackers is hereby being disbanded. Some of us will be rerolling Asmodians as our legit characters instead and reforming a specifically small legion to impact world PvP as little as possible, this does not include the entire legion, we will not even be inviting half of our members to the new legion as its always been a concern of the community that too many staff lump to one side. To avoid that anymore we'd rather split up the odds, though we cannot fully control who goes where, we hope that this change will allow us to rightfully play our legit characters without upsetting the community too much. I can guarantee you, despite your theories, none of the members of Hackers ever gave or received special treatment and this will not change at all with us switching sides, we will be our own little group and no one, not even our own, will be benefitting from any staff actions whatsoever.

Keep in mind that me and Alente are CEO and HGM, we earned our positions out of integrity and obedience, and we will not allow any form of favoritism to go on, and if you see any you are more than welcome, no, encouraged, to report it to us and we promise it will be swiftly dealt with. We care about the community, and what they think of us, that is the core reason for this change, so please don't be so quick to jump the gun and assume we are playing in any unfair manner.

Also, it has come to our attention too that some players feel as if we play too much on our legit characters. While I think our effort is overlooked (note: you won't often see me and Alente taking support PMs, we have other stuff to do besides that so don't base an assumption on how often you see us announcing our names and such), we still want to make sure that the community is satisfied with our efforts and I am in the process of enforcing a rule that will effect all AMs in which legit gameplay must not exceed that of AM gameplay. With this rule in place, we will still be making sure that AMs are active enough in the first place but more importantly that they aren't focusing more on their legit characters than they are on their staff duties. If it becomes apparent that an AM is playing far more than they are helping, they're simply going to be demoted back to a player as thats what they're more interested in.

I hope with all of this said, you guys can understand that me and Alente and all the others from Hackers, specifically those that also serve as staff members, are committed to making sure the community as a whole is happy and we can only hope this balance will greatly improve the opinions of everyone across the GamezAion community.

If I missed anything I'm sure Alente will be fast to come hit me with a baseball bat and flirt with you all while mentioning whatever that missed something is

Now comes the fun part of choosing a new name...

Decisions decisions.

Perhaps if I put on my baker's hat I can reach a decision.

Though we fully plan to limit how many people we're actually going to let switch, we don't want to simply flip flop the legion as I don't think thats going to help the cause much at all.
