That's not the point if a GM is On his GM account he should go out of his way like sanctus to make Him/herself known to the players of Lumiel. not just get on and sit around and say oh im GMing right now without making and announcment.

 

Well I'll be glad to pass the word on. Im sure he forgets to announce himself.

Well since she cannot do any of the developer stuff Alente can, she has reason to. But I'm not bashing her, it's her right and choice to do what she wants. I just hope Carl realizes that Gamez needs Alente, or it's going to fall...Very fast. Plus i like how Alente is not afraid to speak up

Thanks Edixoid for providing me with a nice tidbit I can really grasp and throw out here for all to chew on.

Please take a moment at this time to look at Karissa's posts in the 2nd link. Please pay special attention to where she says Gamez might be a company soon.

Now that we have that little bit established, let me continue. If I were you Karissa/Carl I would seriously advise hiring someone with competent business experience before you even think about making Gamez a company. You lack human resources (and not because they aren't available mind you. But rather because you seem incapable of working with others as a coherent and well-organized team). You would fail as a company before you even knew what hit you.

When a community is this distraught and bogged down by problems YOU have created. Perhaps it's time to rethink your course of action.

With all I've seen in this thread it actually makes sense as to why so many of us players and out-spoken staff members think many GM's are incompetent. You have to hire human equivalents of dogs for this all to work without a fuss. Noone with an ounce of self respect or dignity would let you push them around, punish them for speaking up, or stand by and watch you ruin this community.

Thank you all who have spoken up and done your part to try and make this a better community. I am sorry to say I never had the pleasure of really getting to know many of you. Hopefully one day your ideals for this community will be realized.

On a more personal note... Karissa. I just want to say thank you for the laughs you've given us all in this thread. Thank you for setting the precedent that it's ok to break the rules if you've dontated (I'm glad to know that I won't be in any real trouble now when I go running around with speed and damage hacks and any other hack I see suitable at the given time). Oh and thank you for being a model example of what a Gamez staff member should be: Ethical, likeable,compassionate, fair, and trustworthy. Oh wait..... :annoyed:
