Alente has left the building

Effective immediately I am handing in my final resignation, there will be no second return to staff for me.

As those of you who are more forum-active are most likely aware there's been a fair amount of drama my lovely counterparts have been slightly less effective at concealing it than me causing it to spill onto the forums over the last two weeks. To summarize things just like the previous "great war" certain events (my promotion to Admin) sparked my lovely female counterpart Karissa to knock heads with me over the usual desire for dominance she has and will probably continue to do over the months. This lead to the usual result with a wave of gm resignations as previously until Carl "demoted" her this morning.

Having said that this isn't the first time all of this has happened and as some of you will remember when Karissa gets "demoted" it is generally a purely aesthetic change. Conversation logs from today that I've been sent with people talking to her have confirmed this appears to be the case again which really is a disappointing thing to hear, I was hoping Carl would stick to his guns.

Because of this I have decided that I will no longer be investing time and breaking my back to improve Gamez, we're stuck in an unending cycle here and I've finally grown tired of it once and for all. It saddens me that the community will end up taking the hit for this but I cannot and will not remain in an environment where contribution and work are secondary in respect to having milk-secreting glandular organs on one's chest.

On to a much lighter note I've had a lot of fun in the six months or so I've spent working on Gamez, made a lot of friends and done a lot of wacky stuff. Some of you love me and some of you wish I would fall into a ditch (owwie) but none the less I enjoyed hanging out with so many different and diverse people.

It saddens me to leave you all but I feel I can no longer trust my coworkers here so I will be departing along with Edixoid/Sanctus/Angal and a couple more who are apparently leaving in the next day or so.

Don't worry though, I'll still be lurking the forums a bit until Tuesday-Wednesday (assuming I'm not banned by then which is about a 50/50 chance) After that I'll probably leave Aion entirely and go mess around in some other new games I've been wanting to try but can't play atm.

It's been fun, I'm sorry we had to part so soon.
