Gamez aion. Falling Apart?

Gamez aion has been a very successful and friendly environment for the community throughout the Aion lifetime. It has come to realize that gamez aion has been falling into the "fail" category for most of us active long term players. So what does this mean for the new players? well, absolutely nothing. Simply because they dont know the difference. They havent seen the past and how gamez has transitioned itself into being more drama filled and chaotic as we like to label it.

In the beginning of gamez aion, i beleive it was 1.5? Everything was fine. (for the most part) simple and fun pvp, not as many pvp balance issues as there is now and everything was just so fresh and exciting.

As many players have offered their assistance to help gamez aion as being a volunteer in the team, applicants who were accepted to be GMs proved them selves to the community and then became more popular and accepted into gamez as a role model and or a figure to look up to because of their pure solid responsibility and commitement to this server. But with time, more and more GMs were accepted to the team. The older GMs who prooved their spot as a responsible leader, was promoted higher and higher.

After months and months of repetitive responsibility, came more drama and more complaints with the updates and bugs. it has become a war between what the community wants and what the team can physically do to make the server better with what they can actually do because of the emulators limits. Some players dont understand that nothing will be perfect. Some players dont understand that the higher positioned GMs and DEVs have spent countless hours trying to fix bugs and glitches and trying to make this server better. But sadly, the community has left a deep wound in the staff of gamez aion. (at least for some) For example, edixoid. He has been around for a long time and has proved himself worthy as a leader. But as he keeps getting beat up by the community with issues and problems and real life issues, he had to quit because it was too much for him.

The same goes for alente. Alente was one of the most responsible team leaders a private server could ask for. Even though he was a grump and showed little emotion, his maturity and responsibility surpassed all of our expectations. Some people may hate him for the lack of responce and help, but his "lack" of work is obviously explained in the sence of the size of the community vs 1 man, alente. The community knows alente as the leader. yes yes carl is the admin, but alente showed the community he was top dog. He couldnt possibly answer every single persons problem or question. He couldnt possibly fix every single issue with the game. He did his best and was beaten and battered by the community. This yet again, gave him the realization that it would be best to move on with life and continue with something else other than gamez. This is completely understandable.

Props for alente.

As for the time now, Gamez aion has balance issues obviously. But in some players heads, balance is the way it should be. All classes shouldnt be the same in dmg proportions. One class can be harder than the other, one class can be weaker than the other. All classes are ment for different things. It is all personal preference. Do you like massive pvp? solo pvp? simple two man group pvp? zerg fest pvp? class strict pvp? or do you like pve? or doing quests? or just crafting and having fun with the game and enjoy the freedom of playing a free game?


Many of us will complain, with time, the team will pitch in and help as much as they can to get gamez the way the community wants it. But sometimes it may be better to just take a break from the game and live life for a bit.

I beleive that gamez aion is one of the most hard working yet drama filled and chaotic servers out there.

Who doesnt like a challenge? nothing can just be handed to you perfectly in mind condition. There will always be gimmicks, glitches, problems, issues, complaints and lastly fixes.

Patience is a virtue. We are playing a free game.

Im sure carls income is great from this server. Many can speculate that he should put more effort into making gamez the way the community wants it, and some can say that he is doing fine.

Carl is getting lots of money, i can tell you that , friend started last week and donated U$ 60,00
Anyways, but he doesn't really cares if the server is with bugs, he just pass that job to the GM's or any1 else who wants to help
The server is really bugged right now, but the server is still on, i pray to someday Carl open his to know that:
If the server continues like that, he's going to loose his money-maker
