Being able to pot off fear? If you can't fix it?

<.< I agree besides even with full M.Res you'd only resist it 55% of the time. :S Also the "zipping" off part isn't that hard... Just gotta change their movement n pathing to the complete opposite of the target(hopefully the SM) lol

well if you count all of them they are like 3 - 4 fears the 2 main ones then curse of water then a fear chain after remove shock... i dont agree with pots but they should make it to where it has a % to Resists

i agree my cleric is full magic resists.... has like 1670 MR and it does jack against even a sorc i mean yeah i miss " some of their attacks" maybe 2 lol im thinking about switching it with hp

 

Well the most % you can have to resist anything is 55% <.< No matter how much Mr you got 55% is I guess you could say the cap... Same thing goes with Eva/parry/block n so on...

 

well yeah i know but o.0 that 55% means i should be resisting more then just 2 attacks on retail a full magic resists cleric resists everything. i know i have a sorc on retail and it had like 1500 ma and the clerics had like 1600+ MR and i resisted every time.

 

I am envious of ur ability to eep everything so high up there. I'm debating between moar HP or moare m.a.

Sick Of fear? invest on silience GS. only ways you can avoid it. is what make sm class. Debuff like silence and body root( melee silence) is also part of it. But atm silience is broken. So learn how to play ur class. I know 2 scout have deadly silence. Chains have very high magic resist. as far as plate the only who have challenge againts sms. they have buffs and etc. So come on now... This is more as rediculous as me asking sm should be allowed to wear chain with extra magic boost and evasion..

 

I know this is a QQ but i resist most of the SM fears yet i still receive the animation of being feared and its effects. its fked in the @ss. I have no idea how that happens but it does. Oh and also GG to all those SMs who are bug abusing their spirit substitution atm, not that i care i just run away from them (being faster helps a lot ) then go back and surprise attack them :tongue:

 

I know right, I am playing or sorc atm, and I am like sleep chain. lol and silience them lol. run and stall tactic. I am more worried about deity abusers atm.

spirit substitution abusers are almost as deadly as deity.
immortality for 2mins is absolutely unacceptable. even with thousands of people ganking on him.
thats why sometimes i bring along my SM to lockdown on SMs with SS buff (once they're de-buffed, they'll die instantly)

anw, i don't agree for fear can be dispelled through pots.
it's annoying, i know.

but,

without "fear", we will never learn the courage to "fight"
(pun intended) xD

 

Like I said invest on magic resist then. U keep harping ur points that cannot happend.

SM-Fear, dots, debuffs and pet
Sorc- sleep, tele, deflection, and big dmg.
Glad- big armor, hp, huge dmg ( can take 2 hits to kill an sm)
Temp- Bigger defence, tactical skills
Cleric-heals, huge spell dmgs, and chain armor
chanter- dmg melee, stumbles and stuns, buffs , and heals
ranger- silience, sleep, big dmgs and hide
sin- stuns, quick dmg, and hide

Is all part of class with one class is not what it is. So just deal with it best u can.

 

I encountered an assassin yesterday who got out of my fear earlier than expected. He said he potted it out using Greater Healing Potion which he crafted. Can anyone confirm this? 'Coz if it's true, that sucks.
