New Dev

Hello ladys. Is assassin still unplayable?? I want ask What Dev we have? today started new month and we still dont have any update. I am starting to think that our new DEV is amateur . Please post here some info about fix progress and new Dev . Thx for your answers

 

Well he just got promoted a cpl days ago. I'd just wait and give him a chance.

 

New dev is "Matthew" and on his first day of beign dev he was trolled off the forums and told to gtfo and to get back in the kitchen more or less...

Honestly I can't blame the guy for avoiding forums nao

We'll have to wait to see if he does come through or not with patches. Only time will tell ;o

 

Sins are playable if people would bother adapt to the changes... Also they hired this Matthew guy, doubt he's an amateur but I can't say for sure. Doesn't change the fact that it will take time to fix what Alente broke... From what I can gather from various posts around the forums they're working on getting 2.1 live with most of the bug fixes. So give it some time and have a beer or something lol.

Anyway, as beast said, let's give this guy a chance and see what he's capable of doing, you can't really judge someone's developing skills by the way they post.

he still needs to study about some stuffs
that he will be working on..

 

TBH Aion server files are easy sauce to modify from looking at them, so I'm not really sure why some of the easy stuff to fix remains unfixed. Unless carl only has the AE public release which would explain it, if that's the case he needs the closed source which is very easy to get. As for the new dev i think he got alot of crap on the forum due to his app being trash, and he applied with only one post.

 

yeah we need to hire "evilset" as dev too btw.

He did state that he was given the last public release by Alente which would only mess up a lot more things. Also that is most likely why Matthew is being... "Hated" in lack of a better word, that reminds me why the hell do some people have 0 posts even after making tons of them? :S Lol Just something I've been wondering for a long time right now.

I do agree he has a nice application, but i feel when hiring a dev they should ,privately of course, ask for an example of there work or some sorta proof they can do what they say this would make sure they aren't in if just to have a purple and name and to say.. Hay look at me im a dev.

 

Just feel like pointing out that Aegis was being sarcastic you know... <.< Since it seems you kinda missed that. ^^

Matthew sparked drama because of his timing. People don't just sign up the second the current "dev" makes a goodbye thread, just to make a dev application with incredible claims, like bug fixes which entire teams of devs have yet to fix.
