i think its also pretty stupid to donate for a dying game if you are broke and out of job but that is mine oppinion. now they finaly can repair all 500 bugs.

If it was up to me, I'd have to seriously consider if I'd refund you, if I didn't you'd learn to double check your stuff next time.

Well as stated above contact him via mail so he can (if wanted) refund your money.

 

I actually just put a stop payment on it through my bank. I hope it actually does stop cuz I had to pay to put stop payment on it. Oh and even though I'm out of a job doesn't mean I don't have money, I have money just not $500 to waste like that. Especially after my car, that's what I'll be investing in. And I don't know how I got to that screen, but when I try to go back and see how I did it, I don't get that screen where I enter in the amount anymore, it's all selection!?!?!?! WTF, it wasn't like that when this mistake happened!!!

Back in the days in l2 we donated for a server which was closed 2 days later.

We withdraw our donation from paypal, it got our bankaccount put on blacklist for this but we did had our money back

Do a charge back on your paypal. Your account will be deleted and your ip will prob be banned, but it's not worth 500$.

That's if Carl doesn't respond or refuses to give the money back.

First of all, why didn't you double check? You should always re-confirm BEFORE pressing that 'complete purchase' button on the paypal page. Always.

But anyway good luck to you. I had a similar case (where I bought credits on the wrong card and Carl refunded me the money back onto my card) and it was done in time.
