The question should be: Can block defence tank better than a parry defence?

 

Yea... but you do need it with Chanters and Sins.... and sometimes rangers.

The diffrence of ease is great with UD
Stun locked for 90% of the fight doesnt really help

 

Sins are a joke with or without UD as are most chanters. I've never had to use it yet, and have never found it a necessity. IN fact, I played when it was broken o.o

 

I enjoyed more when UD was broke.

Use both and u'll be a rock... but concentrate on parry more get it over 3k... as for the block thats why we use a sheild..

Yea they are underpowered... but a geared sin will destroy a glad with his stuns and his evasion...

 

snare, run away, cleave and seismic to death? and if extendas, even better, just keep a distance...

I suggest socketing MR making them even more of a joke then they already are...

Without UD sins can stunlock you easy. You underestimate.

My point exactly, why use parry for a block based equipment? Also block reduces more damage than parry.

 

glads have two snares. so pot one, you're gonna get stuck on the other. plus, if you GHP, ill ghp the blind, although most sins barely get their attacks off on me, i use extenda so I always keep a distance and their easy peasy ;D

and with MR, I don't get stun locked ever. UD would be just mean on a sin ;(

 

no no... with shield + dauntless spirit + shield defense = failed ambush at 80% proximity :smile: try it and see its wonders lol...

 

sword shield on a sin is once again, overkill. I like challenges that most gamez players do not provide, so I usually handicap myself lol ;D

This is a rough overview of gladiator PvP style mainly in skill rotations. I didn't mean for it to be a "You have to use this skill rotation everytime on this class" type of guide. It's just a basic useful style for beginners to test out.

Also i'm updating a few things to my guide; such as manastones and different styles (i.e sword and shield)

 

great guide ted...btw your a noob glad D, good guide though....but u should add a gear section for the nabs that don't know what anu/mira/eat/abg is XD

Pretty much what I do. I've given up on using UD, Aerial, CB, and 2nd wind. Unless I'm ticked off/tired I'll use something to make the fight go faster. When I wanna prove a point... well then I just get mean.
