Fun in the snow

From what I hear, at least the air is mostly dry there, right? We have terrible humidity D8, so its pretty suck here as well. I used to live in northern New York, close to Niagara Falls, and before I moved to the suburbs of my current city I lived in a small town closer to the mountains (still in NC), both of them had some nice snows, especially NY where i got to see a few full blown blizzards, but I really haven't seen but one good snow (last winter) in 5 years here.

EDIT: You could say I grew up in snow and cold weather, I'm used to it and I love it, never have I really been happy living where I am now

 

It was below 0 where I live today. I hate it, I don't want to live where its extremely hot, but a happy medium ;o.

Yeah for the most part we dont have much humidity. Which is nice, but the summer heat can be unbearable at times.

 

Kansas perhaps? (I don't really know if Kansas is a medium, but the tornadoes would be exciting 8D)

 

lmfao. Not "south" medium. but in all honesty, other than weather, can't really complain about chicago. well, that and the sports teams ;D. I just don't like the cold

 

I hear stories about how nice Chicago is all the time, I don't know why you're complaining o__o

I'm not D:, I just don't like the cold. But chicago is really nice other than that. As long as you don't live in the south side of the city ;D

We only get Snow on one mountain in Australia, only ever been there once

 

That shouldn't be bad at all, getting cold is nice.

Once you're cold you eventually have to get warm again, and that sensation of having all the warmth come back into your body and make your blood flow normally back through your veins is one of the best sensations of all imo, its the greatest thing about the cold.

Its much better imo than unrelenting heat that you can't get away from, a sun that never lets up and shines brightly in your eyes and burns your skin.

The thing I don't like though is sunny days that are cold in the winter. It doesn't feel right at all. I prefer damp or cloudy days in the winter, it gives such a dreary feeling, but its so lovely at the same time, its hard to explain the feeling it gives me, but I love it.

 

I like to go out on snowy days as well , but since it's been snowing since nov.21. here & the temperature stays under -7 (celsius degrees) constantly
I'm kinda getting bored of "red Rudolph nose" anytime I go out :<
However I'd love to have a real "white Xmas" since my lil sis is only 4yo , and in that age , that means a lot for them ^^
