Maybe there is a chance but who knows.

Anyways, if it were, it wont be in the winter season since the listing is going to be out soon.

Maybe next spring, summer fall?? who knows.

And by the way if we're talking about Death Note , Could you recommend me some kind of anime with DECENT plot but w/o the usual sword and/or gun slaughters?

I don't mind if ppl are dying but not in the regular "I got superpowah & I'll cut yo head off" style ~

I prefer animes which grab my attention with their plot (such as Death Note) not with the actions & the fight scenes ;o

Dragonaut-the resonance
Genre: Romance, Action, Mecha,
Summary: personally I rate this anime 10 out of 10. The reason is that this anime has a great plot which revolves around forgiveness, understanding, pity, empathy, and communication. The main lead male and female, throughout the anime, develop a strong relationship and overcome great barriers. (She can be a sexy ***** or a bloody a** ra*ping dragon). This anime is simply a pure enjoyment.
In order to avoid Earth's impending destruction from an asteroid, the International Solarsystem Development Agency (ISDA) works on the "D-Project", and creates dragons after finding a dragon egg under the ocean. However, they soon find out that the asteroid is not their only threat, as powerful dragon-like creatures appear on Earth. After witnessing a murder by one of the creatures, Jin Kamishina gets involved in the mysteries of the dragons and becomes a dragon pilot, otherwise known as a "Dragonaut". Helping him on his journey is Toa, a mysterious girl who saves him from falling to his death after the creature attacks him. As they delve deeper into the mysteries of the dragons, they encounter new friends and enemies, and also begin to develop a closer relationship.

Genre: romance, fan service, ecchi, harme
Summary: One word to describe this anime would be : splendid. This series, beside the plot, has many unique aspects to it. For example the main character questions upon the meaning of God. He pounders at the notion that perhaps religion is merely a system created to manipulate the human race. Moreover, this is more and less so like our current society where people are basically controlled by the government, religion and lastly MONEY. If one does not cope with the common norm, then one is seen to be a treat to our society, ex: terrorist perhaps. Anyways, a bit off topic now Lol. This anime has a great romance development; nonehteless is more of a cliffhanger and harme ending. Great plot great development.
The story of "love, magic, and battles" revolves around Akuto Sai, a boy who aims to become part of his country's highest order of magicians and contribute to society. On the day he is admitted into the Constant Magical Academy, his aptitude test predicts the following: "Future Occupation … Devil King." Thus begins his difficult school life in which he is resented by his studious female class head, desired by a girl with mysterious powers, and guarded by a beautiful female android.

Full Metal Panic
Sousuke Sagara, a seventeen year old military specialist working for the secret organization MITHRIL, has been assigned to protect the latest "Whispered" candidate Kaname Chidori. To complete this task Sousuke will have to deal with enemies from his past as well as the occasional panty thief. Unfortunately for Sousuke, the toughest part of his mission isn't only protecting Miss Chidori but also getting used to living an average High School students life, no easy task for someone raised on the battlefield.

Summary: lots of action….. it a good series, has 3 seasons….
