Some Arsenic based bacteria was found recently (or perhaps made, I forgot really which one it is but either way its fairly cool)

The coolest part is, the "primordial soup" from when life first began on Earth is a process that really can't happen again because the life would be killed off so fast by current lifeforms and conditions, an environment that isn't quite ideal for the growth of brand new chain of lifeforms. However, since this bacteria uses arsenic, the "primordial soup" is essentially poison and may actually survive long enough to begin evolution, not that it will happen overnight or anything.

Honestly something like this might be a bit complex for some of the users on the forums (not pointing any fingers) xD so I'm waiting on Aegis since he loves to talk about intelligent stuff it seems ;o
