"<GM>Asmophel: You can go to other faction map by using RIFT, for those who are abusing bug/quest/skills to go to other faction map will be jailed."

WTF? Using quests to go to other faction map isn't a bad thing. And "abusing quests"? NCSoft made an "Abandon" button in the quest log to stop a quest and be able to repeat it anytime. That's no "abuse". Besides, it is a part of the game.
For me, that rule is like saying "For those who are gliding in a no-flying zone will be jailed." or "For those who are using 2 scrolls at the same time will be jailed." Duh! Stupid rule!

I just pm'd him about that. If the game designed for it to happen a certain way, then it's not really abusing.

He never replied to me. Zzzzz

I thought these quest were non-repeatable, even if you abandon it. Once it ports you over, it's done.

The Eltnen Teleporter quest is repeatable. Once the Apprentice Teleporter teleports me to asmodae, I abandon it right away and I can get the quest back again at Eltnen.

You can repeat this quest again and again by abandoning it, and that is what most of them are doing, they never intent to finish the quest, the are already abusing this quest to go to morheim without entering a rift, RIFT are made to go to other faction map.

And you think you never abuse anything when you abandon this quest?

And you just exploit how to abuse it.

The only thing I abused is the "Abandon" button and the NPC. LOL? If it is abuse, NCSoft should have made a cap on how many times a player can abandon a quest. If no, then it is part of the game and let it be part of it cause right now, what you are trying to do...is removing the wheels of my car.

How about for other new players that need to finish this quest to get experience?

And your car likes to run over lowly street people? I say put it in the impound.

If you can't discern the metaphor, I wouldn't be surprised.

To kill Asmodians again and again is more than a good reason. Good or bad intentions is not the problem here. This matter is all about free agency. If it's not a bug, then it's no abuse. It's how the game was designed. I can jump 100 times over the Trade Broker's table and the only thing I abused is my Space Bar. I can spam sell NPC items into the broker and the only things I abused is my mouse and the broker and my kinah. I can kill all the chickens in Poeta and the only things I abused is my weapon and the chickens. If I'm a 5-star officer, I can only go online and transform into Deity every 2 hours and go to PVP areas and kill a bunch of enemies. Having good or bad intentions on what is given in-game or what the game was designed shouldn't be a bannable "abuse". We all have our free will and tactics in-game and a rule like yours is an abuse to our rights as players.

If you want to kill asmo or to go to other faction map use the rift.

100k experience or getting rid of a bug exploit?

Not that I mind it much, I just hop on my SM and kill everyone raiding Morhiem.

But I'm just saying, if you don't want to have people abuse it, then get rid of it. It's the logical way to solve things.

Otherwise, leave it be and let players use the quest.

I fully agree except for the "bug exploit" part since it's no bug.
And by the way GM Asphel, have you consulted with higher authorities about this new rule you are implementing?...because you need a more proper and public way of adding this new rule.

Just do the quest and finish it. just because there is an option to give up a quest i dont think that NCsoft intend it to be used like this. furthermore. a GM has asked you not to do this on the gamez server, there for when playing on the gamez server you will damn well listen to the gm's and not do it.
