    but most of them are getting error after updating or repairing their client using ncsoft launcher

    so why not try torrent..it might help....xD

    If they download teh official nclauncher there should be no problem..

    if there are problems they are caused by the user it self..

    its way to easy to download aion..

    i downloaded the NCSoft launcher then

    i made my nclauncher settings to northamerica

    then i made teh game language settings...

    then i downloaded and updated aion

    then i installed gamez patch


    and i was able to play...

    i rly dont know why people make their self so muchtrouble.. simply they have not an actual windows XD

    its important to have dot net framework 3.5 or 4

    winxp sp3 ( or w7 or vista but not sure becaus ei use winXP )

    also the folder in ur C:/ directory has to be named WINDOWS ...

    most users have probs becaus eits called WinXP.. thats wrong..

    well actual graphic / direct x drivers are a MUST for every gamer...

    and so on... i dont know why people do not care about their PCs...

    and i getpissed if they think its just "install n go"... a PC is like a pet.. u have to care it ^^

    the reason why i post this thread is not to argue with pretty ladies lol

    i just want to help some people that are getting some errors with ncsoft launcher....

    i see no harm as long as the torrent is clean.

    also it should have more seeders not leechers.

    it is one way, a mirror to get to 1.9 without hassles if all the above are met ..

    then i think this thread is cool.

    In the announcements(in game) it says to better upgrade it to 1.9 since it will be updated to 1.9 soon...

    i think a GM himself said there's no announcement like that and it's just a rummor. and i any case there's no official announcement in the forums either.
    can someone confirm?

    I've seen the announcement in-game myself....

    It says something along the lines of "For future updates, please download 1.9 yadda yadda..."

    Daisuko's correct, on GamezAion GM's have implemented an automatic announcement that says every 5 minutes or so to download 1.9 to safeguard against future updates. They should be updating the high rate server to 1.9 sometime soon.

    If you have problems updating with the launcher you can always get direct downloads from gamershell.com, Torrents are notorious for taking days at a time.

    Torrents? Notorious for taking days at a time? o_O Sir, torrents are entirely reliant on the seed/leech availability, your bandwidth, and the settings you impose. Under proper settings, torrents are by and large the fastest and easiest way to download things.
