Hi im dont know if its really speed hack i think cos, for a sorcere i thinks its really fast.

he was dueling you with scrolls and self buffs probably lol.

Freezing wind and Flame Cage are skills with no cast. Its not hack o.o

 

Just looking at the Aion database cause i couldnt remember which spell it was... Flame Spray II has a 3.5sec cast.. so even with those two being instant cast...Would be a bit difficult to throw off the two instant cast one in 3sec .....

 

You do know Combat log doesn't register the actual casting of a skill? Until the effect or skill is casted. <.< Just pointing it out and since the GCD is about 1s or less it's very possible to get those numbers.

 

Was the sorcerer asmo? If it was, not a hack. The asmo side sorcs got a buff which allows them to cast much faster, and if you add the casting speed scroll + gloves it can pretty much be insta cast.

 

D: Am I the only one who knows the combat log doesn't register the actual cast time of something?

<.< That's what I did on a legion mate today. You see how it doesn't register the 1.5s casting time of Infernal Pain?

 

That's one point , and the other thing is that +casting speed gloves + casting speed scrolls + Boon of Quickness = almost instant flame spray ~

With all these considerations that i didn't think about since i haven't played my sorc in awhile.. that lil bit of combat log is not enough.. even if you are just asking.. we need to check for buffs on the sorc as well as their gear to be sure..

And all i had for buffs was magic boost and the clerics buffs..

 

Yeah Asmo Sorcs have Boon of quickness, which decreases the cast time of spells by 50%. Elyos get Boon of strength which increases magic boost and magic accuracy by 500.

There are several racial differences in aion's classes if you just look at aiondatabase. I'm assuming it was to create counter classes and make group play more of a necessity, but in reality in certain cases it creates imbalances in small scale PvP and 1 v 1 situations.

I have ABG set on my sorc, which the gloves grant 8% cast speed. If I use a cast speed sroll another 9% cast speed, and Boon of quickness -50% spell cast time, and my 20% cast speed weapon I can pretty much instant cast on Flame Spray, Glacial Shard, Inferno. Take into account also that this is without magic boost 1 which lowers cast time by another 10%, cast speed candies and titles.

There is a big discussion on the retail forums that sorcs are beyond OP because of the new scrolls, gear and abilities granted to them in aion 2.0.

Just be glad that damage godstones, and magic crit does not work on this server. It's one of the reasons I left retail. How much would you like dying repeatedly to only flame cage which normally hits someone for maybe 700 - 1k damage DoT because a 3760 fire dmg godstone procced on you.

 

Who knows that sorc cheat. I helped him by casting a certain magic that he/she will exposed their cheat. Like Nasu for example. Lmao.
