Is it safe to update to 2.1 now?

    OK. I thought they said it will just take 15 to 20 minutes updates with 300mb file size.

    By that sentence they mean that it'll only take you 20minutes to update your client

    The date is today but they never mentioned about what time :O

    that is also the problem. they announced date but no time. i hope next time they also put time so that players will not be guessing what time of the day the update will take place.

    An accurate guess is better then nothing. Also reason it's difficult is cause people have lifes. Carl don't get "paid" to patch the server like the NCSoft/Mythic/Blizzard Devs so he most likely got something to do in rl before he gets home/up and patch. ^^ And since 7pm-12am(GMT) is basically the afternoon for most in US it's a pretty accurate guess. :)

    im hoping this 2.1 will fix my gelkmaros/inggisson maps >.< for some reason they are in chinese/korean >.< when every other map is the us version. :bandit:

    i don't know...but before closing aion..i saw a countdown.. when it reached 20 secs i closed it..dunno if it was update countdown

    It's a shut down/restart timer which goes on whenever a shutdown/restart command is given usually after an announcement of the said shutdown/restart.

    EX:
    .nameannounce Server is restarting in 30s please find a safe place and log out
    .server restart 30

    It's possible but at the current moment, I would have to say I highly doubt it since there haven't been any announcement on the forums yet. Concerning todays update that is.
