Magic Resist problem

    Hey guys, I wonder if Magic Resist will be finally working good.

    MR manastones are hard to farm, many ppl sarcificed a lot of time to get 'em and wot ?

    Nothing, Magic resist doesnt protect us from stuns and stumbles at all.

    Its really mean and unfair, another step to make whole server gone Glads.

    What do U think ppl should Gm's take more care of it ?

    Magic Resists helps againt Magic right?

    Not stuff like stumble or stun? since its physical...

    in retail i think that magic resist can resist physical attacks too..
    but i dunno.. will someone confirm this? and how bout in this server?

    On retail it protects from any kind of stun.

    m/r must can resist stun, sleep, strumble
    but now m/r is bugged...

    And its really unfair, all classes are endanger now.
    I bet 60% of gamez chars are glads, many ppl that were clerics, sins,rangers, not even telling about sorcerers became glads.

    This is really stupid cuz varity of chars should be a basement of good server.

    Aw I forgot Gms dont care ...

    Stumble / Stun / Aether / CC(Sleep,Curse of Roots,Fear) / Spells / Godstones are magical effects....Every single Retail player knows that ALL OF THESE SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE RESISTED. So im letting you know too

    Shouldn't resist stumble, knock down or aether's hold (gladiator's version) but stuns (not sure about Templar's/Chanter's stuns), sleep, curse, fear, silence or root, yeah. Of course not a complete resist, just higher reduction chance.

    DUde im sorry to say this but unless you know dont speak please. Gladis Stumblee Knock down and Aether are physical skills WITH MAGICAL EFFECTS. So Even if they land the magical effects should be resisted. Same goes for Gladis Ankle snare.

    It is Magical. Dont put logic in a MMORPG =.=. Like casting magic or throwing Fires Is logical.

    In retail All of these are magical. NC Soft did that for some reason.

    I Dispel ankle Snare with Dispel III, I use to dispel with Cure Mind and resist that in 2.0 but since the new update I dispel it with the physical de-buff status. Some status debuff aren't all magical based.

    Maybe insted of guessing, U should check b4 U say something dear.

    But I dindt want this topic to be a big argument, I want to know if GMs are going to do something with it or not ?
    I also I would like point that MR is a thing ALWYAS bugged after any kind of updates, Its really pitiful.

    ....man really....I dont think i could be wrong after 1 and a half years of the Original game....

    If what you say is correct and actually happened on this new update its because people that dont know anything about Aion open their mouths or mess with the servers scripts.

    No offence but its like Koishii trying to fix bugs and skills. He may be the best in computing but if a GM tells people that Stun and Stumble isnt magical Effect then what to expect...


    So once again. For starters. Stun / Stumble / Aether Holds ( OF ALL CLASSES) / Spells / CC ARE ALL MAGICAL OR WITH MAGICAL EFFECTS
