Can somebody help me with this???

okay...heres the thing... i have the ncsoft folder on drive C... then i decided to transfer it to Drive D...that was B4.. then now i wanted to update my client to 2.0.0.5 since im still using 2.0.0.4...My problem now is the Ncsoft launcher is gone... then i installed a new one..its a repair tho... Now...it doesnt show me anything about updating there... only shows me about installing....sorry guys im not that good in stuffs like this...im just worried that i wont be able to update it to 2.1 soon... or do i need to reinstall it? please help me...:sad::sad::sad::crying::crying::crying:

 

k to fix the problem follow these steps.
open ncsoft launcher as an administrator ==> right click on aion ==>Properties ==> Right where it says Install location ==> to the right of this click on browse ==> now browse thru your directory in Drive D: and find your aion.bin (Aion folder)

Shud fix the problem, GL

now it asks if i would like to install AION to the fillowing folder..D:\NCSoft\Aion

so whats the next step??? or il just proceed to install it?

 

Okay when you browsed through your D: drive did you find the folder with the "aion.bin" file ?



If you did, you were supposed to click "aion.bin" then press open and then ok, if it does say would you like to install it here still, press ok again, i think it will just analyze your aion folder and see that it has all the main files and it might start updating to the latest version.

 

thanks a lot mate... got it.. but i dnt have any option to update it to 2.0.0.5... only the 2.1.0.2... so i guess ill just wait then till the game it self updates...

If you already have Aion installed in that directory

Just say yes to the install thing,it wont install it

And you can downgrade it to 2.0.0.5 by following my guide in the link in my sig

But yeah you should prolly just wait for it to update to save time

 

Yeh i suggest you just wait until they bring out the 2.1 version so you can play there is no point in downgrading your client for just 1 day. But if u really want to downgrade and play right now, go here http://forum.gameznetwork.com/showthread.php?t=38639

thanks mate...i got it..

1 last problem...its about the game... why cant i delete any of my characters? i did go through the Confirm delete thingy...still it doesnt work... my character is still there...i want to delete it coz i made an ugly looking char...im just wondering what seems to be the problem...i have this issue for some time now...a couple of months ago i guess... its ok if theres nothing that can resolve this... as long as i can now update my client...

Quit the legion your character is in, then quit aion and launch it again, confirm delete and it shud work.
