Really.. I was about to make a tag for this.. but look at this comments. .
DO U GUYS REALLY CALL A RENDER + A BRUSHED BG + TRANSPARENCY A GODDAMN SIG?
You might want to watch my Old PB, and my Really old one . . and some others aswell, like Blane's PB, NONSense's PB, Allezas PB & DA, .Safety's DA & PB. . . Those are real Sigs, with at least 4 hours of work (Having knowledge of what ur doing, not just placing things like that in some random blank space). .

However If I make a sig, or a banner, or Anything, my work will be devalued, since Not many ppl knows how to appreciate real graphic design art *sigh* . .

 

cause not any1 has the knowledge on what to appreciate.... people to tend to judge that its good as long as it LOOKS good :lol::lol::lol:

 

Have some consideration. It might not be hard for you to make what you call a good signature, but they all worked hard on theirs. They aren't asking for your criticism, there's a thread for that.

If you're not submitting your own signatures, then at least don't devalue everyone elses.

I'm not devaluating anyone else's work, I'm just stating smt. If ppl takes it personal, then they misunderstood my message, since I'm not calling those works crap, I'm just speakling generally and not flaming anyone.

You mentioned the comments everyone has been making about the sigs, which were usually compliments. And stated that you were refusing to make a signature/banner because we (the community) don't know how to appreciate / judge people's works. Did I get it somewhat correctly?

Edit: When you're talking about the signatures here, and comments here, then you're not being very general. You're targeting it at everyone who has submitted in this thread.

I'm unfamiliar with what smt means. Sorry. =/ Missing some context there. Sorry, it just sounds like you're getting on here to call peoples work bad.

and yes i know how to appreciate "Real graphic art design" since ive been to most graphic softwares out there. zbrush/autocad/cinema4d/corel/adobe etc. hmm as far as i know ive never let myself. to tell others how bad they work at least compliment to everyone. coz i know myself am not an expert or even good but im doing this to develop my skill. to be appreciated by the others

I didn't see the host of this event asking for a professionally designed SIGNATURE.Yes in the todays world we do call them,signatures or tags.I do not know what you are thinking of yourself as ~ Apparently you think you're one of the greatest artists in the history of mankind.You expect people to SIT and WASTE 4 hours of their precious TIME to draw EVERY SINGLE thing from scratch,color it,edit it and make it good just for what,a game? No sir,it is you who doesn't know what you're talking about.We do highly appreciate work from other people,in which this case you do certainly not.If you wanted to make something then you should've made it and not made a stupid comment like that.My intentions are not to insult you in any way,I am just stating what kind of an impression you're leaving on me,and most likely on other people.
