Photoshop & Artwork Critique and Comment

Well I got on this idea just randomly.
People can post their signatures/avatars or any kind of artwork that they've made.And the rest of the users can comment it,give some advice on making it better,basically Critique.I think this will spare this section of the forums of non necessary topics each time someone made something new.

Everyone is welcome from newbies to experts,I myself would love to help out people that are still new [:

I love the way you made the signature the colors and the flow is perfect!

The avatar is very well thought of and the colors are great but a bit too much contrast in it I think,also a tiny bit more gaussian blur than there should be. Try lowering the contrast a bit and lighting it up a bit and if you have the psd ready lower the Opacity of the blur layer :3.Other than that I love it <3

If its the one in your signature,it's better than your last one I'd say.But it still is a bit too bright,also there's a lot of noise as I can see there on it.The render blends in better than last time but still not perfect.The fonts color also are better than last time,I see you've took my advice.

It sure did get BETTER.

But I'd suggest you work around on fonts blending options and try to change the fonts you use.Check www.dafont.com for more fonts.As for the render I've suggested you to use the feather tool.And about the noise on the background you just need to find better quality backgrounds or Fractals that you're already using probably.Oh yes and match in your colors of the background with the render [:

there is a wierd light blue points all over the sig.
it will look better without it

Two old ones I made ages ago, the top on is actually the only one I've been properly satisfied with... Sadly I don't have the file anymore so can't resize it n keep the animation... At least I think so since I'd love to use it here...

The second one, was a signature I made after I had watched both the Anime n the OVA of Hellsing... Lol Turned out alright in my opinion but could of been better.

 

The first one looks awesome, it sad you cant resize it, would be a great sig :x

About the feather, i've tried to use it, but seems doesnt work out, i'll try it more in my next sig...
Really dont get the" noise" u've mentioned..Can you explain it clearly pls?>.>

 

I like the way you've done the first one,but I really don't like the way you use bevel and emboss on the signature,it really makes it look all awkward,also the letters on the first one are too bright and too red,they don't match the signature that well.The animation is nice,background and render very well put together and the colors are great too.

On the other one is a bit worse than the first one,lose the bevel and emboss once again,the letters are hard to read,try not using Stroke around the letters.The background has too little contrast.I am liking the first one better.Try using plain 1-10 pixel black/white borders (Depending on your likings) they always work out the best.

And yes I agree with you it always can turn out better! Everyone just keeps on improving their whole life [:

I like the first one a lot. You should get back into photoshop. I would try working on the flow of it though, maybe the liquefy tool would be usefull?

I think I can resize it and add animations to it and give you the PDF file if you want to work on it again?

 

The "Noise" its problably those blue dots

Yep, only one I've been satisfied with...

True, just felt like adding a bit of a 3D feeling too it... Also yeah I know the letters are a bit too red, prob is I couldn't find a smoother color that wouldn't make it hard to read cause of the color in the background.

N yeah kinda not surprised that the second one is worse since it was made before the first one. ^^'' Anyway thanks n yeah I saw this one animation sig n I guess you could say I fell in love with the smoothness n the style of how they were made... So I started doing em...

Hehe... Been about 3-4 years since I made them. Doubt I remember anything since I haven't bothered reinstalling PS since my last comp died on me... N sure would love that. ^^ Wish I could find one of my USB sticks tho... Got an even older version of it there oh, well bother...
