Mastarius or ABG?

Which set is better for a gladiator? Mastarius or ABG? This includes armor and weapon. I just don't want the wrong one. Thank you.

 

There are multiple ways you can look at it.

Armor:

ABG: provides overall best statistics in armor. This is because of the - PvP damage that the armor pieces offer.
This makes a tremendous difference in how much damage you take! tremendous.

Mastarius: provides great stats on the armor, but lacks -Pvp damage that the ABG offers.
however, the appeal of this set in particular is the fact that the set provides you with high M.R. statistic value in the pieces.
Thus, mastarius is a great set for stacking magic resistance.


Overall ABG > Mastarius. But Mastarius is a wonderful M.R. set.

Weapon:

Weapons are a little tricky and vary from class to class (such as if you were a spiritmaster I would suggest ONLY ABG tome + tahabata tome. No mastarius at all.)

Mastarius:
Provides highest stats in game as well as highest attack power. But no +PvP damage (10%), so it is definately significantly weaker than ABG.

ABG:
Provides stats that are a little lower than mastarius, yet has +10% pvp damage which is a BIG deal!

If you can choose only one than ABG >>>>>>>>>>> Mastarius in this case. Unlike Armor mastarius weapons are only good for fusing.

Fusion options:
#1: -Most common fusion is using mastarius as a base and fusing it with the ABG spear (losing the ABG spear periminently). This gives you the high stats o the mastarius weapon as well as the +10% pvp damage from the ABG spear and its bonus stats too.
*This is great for dealing huge damage if you are a gladiator/anything else.

#2: -Not so common, but definately VERY potent combination is using an extendable spear (adds range) and fusing it with the ABG spear (losing ABG spear perminently).

You in this case have the extendable as the main weapon, making it so it can extend, as well as the +10% pvp damage and extra stats from the ABG spear.

#3: -Don't fuse an extendable with mastarius... the +pvp (10%) damage is worth way too much to give up.
