1.9-2.0 Stigmas System is needed?

Crystal Aion was only a test server for Gamez, and today was its official death imo. Now with 1.9 coming for gamez, devs are trying to figure out how to keep people here and coming. No other server offers 1.9 auto learn simply because it is inherently stupid. So please stop making the same fail argument over and over again.

 

I havent looked at 2.0 skills whatsoever, but my opinion is that Aion was originally meant to have stigma trees and people would have to choose which stigmas to use in their build.

Only looking at 1.5 stigmas, it makes a distortion in the PvP balance of the game when all stigmas are available. An easy example to understand this the Templar, since one of their stigma tree is used mainly for PvE (taunts, etc.) therefore the Temp does not gain an advantage by having all stigmas compared to other classes.

As much as I love having Sleep Storm and Flame Spray... I think stigma trees need to be fixed to keep a pvp balance in Aion.

i know that when i read the post about crystal aion opening, i did not read any part that said,its a test server only.

i remember in all of ur 9FIC STIGMAS) thread that even the GM's said,that crystal aion got the features u wanted,which is no free fly and working stigmas

as for the death of it,well,what can u expect, u have a server that lets you do it all vs a server that u are limited.

as for the working stigmas, i DARE you all, to try out ALL the classes,and see how fun it is having a class in which ALOT of its skills dont work.

like i said before, if i had a GM shop with everything,and ALL working skills, not some, not most, but ALL working skills, then i would agree with u on the fixing stigma,and lets become like the rest of the servers.

till then, im pretty sure that WORKING skills and bugs is 90% alot more important than everyone using ALL skills...

correct me if im wrong here

 

Gamez is a pvp server, therefore we should look for the most balanced state as we can get, so pvp is fun and atleast a bit fair.

Gift question for you: Do u really think the game which was designed with a feature like Stigma system is really more balanced when this feature is ignored and everyone is allowed to use all stigmas?

As you said, there isnt 100% balance and of course there will never be, but we should try to go as far with a balance as we can.

But this whole topic is useless until we know for sure that devs can fix stigmas As for now not even 1.5 advanced stigma system is completly working.

 

i agree with fixing the stigmas, even if i dont think crystal is dead. (well if it is, i see that soon)

But lets see how ppl think when they get the 2.0 skills. Im sure than they will agree with adding the stigma system.

At this point, we are at a 4 to 1 ratio....devs what more do you want? You can look at the planner yourself and use common sense to figure out that having auto learn simply will not work. The only defender of it has a horrible argument that involves 0 resarch whatsoever. I think it is obvious that stigmas need to be implemented (and adv need to work before this, if they do not, simply do not run 2.0 for the sake of the server).

 

dudes,if this server was full PVP, then i want someone to make a new char right now, lvl him ALONE, not plvled by a friend, but lvl your self alone, then go straight into pvp.

oh and just to make it fair, it has to be a new acc, new char,which means, u cannot give any kinah,gear,foods or any sorts to that new char since u are starting out brand new like everyone else, and jump straight into pvp with no help once so ever from anyone else..

if u can do this,and get all ur items with out having to get 1bil kinah from events just so that u can buy all ur gear, and with out using a premium account, then ill shut up

till this, gamez is NOT FULL PVP. this server is PVE and PVP. you peoples trully dont understand the concept of a true PVP server.

buying stuff from broker does NOT make this server a PVP server, since US crafters have to go and kill our time crafting just to supply our selves and everyone else who need these items in order to pvp.

No... that is not sarcasm either. I've already planned my stigma build for retail on my sm so I am perfectly cool with that.. but this monstrosity of every class getting every stigma gimps out a solid 5 classes leaving the others incredibly powerful... (sorc, glad, cleric... still chanter too)

leveled myself. no money... geared myself slowly and painfully...

 

been there, done that. And what's this gotta do with stigmas anyways? Why do you not want stigmas? Are you afraid you'll suck without it? Seriously, get some skills.

i dont need 100 skills in order to kill anyone in seconds..

working stigma or not, im still going to have the SAME skill tree, i just will be limited from using other most likely none working skills

Go onto that stigma planner on the link in the OP and just read over a few of these skills...and understand that hell will break loose without this system.

 

I believe you. The having all skills before 1.9 was not that bad to me then I saw what was coming and pretty much HAD to change my mind on this subject.

besides the fact that GM's need to test out all before and after 1.9,i wonder what happens if they limit the use of stigma skills before patching and have none working skills after patching?
