GamezAion updating to 1.9

As you guys may have already heard GamezAion will finally be following CrystalAion's lead and porting over to 1.9 later this month. The 21st of July to be precise.

For all you Gamez players out there this is great news with 1.9 offering a lot of client improvements alone that people have been desperately seeking, the additional UI capability and extra skillbars are a personal favorite of mine xD

But what does this mean for all current players of Gamez? Simply put if you haven't already you will need to bring your client up to 1.9.x within the next ten days in order to be prepared. Users who haven't updated their clients will be unable to connect until they do so.

To patch all you need to do is run your NCSoft launcher and let it update your client fully, bearing in mind you may need to repatch to Gamez after the updates have completed using our launcher installation.

If your NCSoft launcher is going painfully slow you can try direct-downloading the files from NCSoft's patch server. Simply close your patcher completely, download the following files, place them into your main Aion directory and start the patcher up. They should take the client from 1.5 to 1.9.2.

sir i have a question, if i already done upgrading can i still play in the game specifically on the high rate server?

 

Because of the compatibility with the 1.9 patch and the Gamez Servers you're allowed to play GamezAion with the 1.9 patch, I do anyway and I don't get a single problem.


I look forward to the upcoming patch, I've heard of some goodies that are coming to GamezAion from the patch. Sorry, No Spoilers Included.

 

Yes you can play the game as it is (1.5) with your 1.9 client.

There will be some minor interface bugs (The world maps and your own title will have display issues for example) however it's more than functional enough to use until 1.9 comes out.

cause my NCsoft is updating f***ing to d*** slow

 

If your NCSoft manager is downloading the update too slow then maybe downloading those patches will be the best bet, from what I understand all of those are to allow you to patch from what ever patch you have (1.5) to 1.9.2 and yes that does mean you would have to download all of them.

 

Do not like it. Recently downloaded AION, now I'll have to download everything again. Okay, download the patches takes less than downloading the game. But I have a problem. I downloaded the version 1.5.1.11 instead of 1.5.1.15. The game is working, however there may be a problem if I use the patch 1.5.1.15 to 1.9.0.0.

Is there a patch for version 15.1.11 to 15.1.15? Please help me.

 

I'm not quite sure how to help you, are you saying you're worried about a problem patching from 1.5.1.11 to 1.9.2 ? What I said is just guessing on the fact that you're playing on a 1.5.1.15 server with the 1.5.1.15 patch, but playing with patch 1.5.1.11 shouldn't conflict with patching directly to 1.9.0.0.

If you feel that it is going to be faster then yes, but waiting for the NCSoft launcher to finish downloading the update itself and let it take its course would be a lot more easy again that is only if the said patches will fully patch to 1.9, if not keep using the NCSoft Launcher.

I believe you can see what version you are using using the NCsoft launcher and going to options. But there's a file in your Aion folder too called version.ini, which will also tell you what version you are using. If not, then you can wait until the update and then you'll find out...

the version that's indicated in my aion folder is 1.9.0.1 .. so it means thats my version ..
then I would DL only 1.9.0.2 to play on the upcoming july 21st patch right??

 

no..by 1.9 they mean 1.9.x.x
by x it means anything..so u will be able to play with 1.9.0.1^^

This is NCsofts pathc notes but there will be some bugs and other stuff added in the 1.9 for gamez like the lvl cap is 55 insted of 50 wich the retail servers is.
