Ashuka’s guide for Gladiator
Ground PVP

Never underestimate you’re opponent, no matter how low his rank is, no matter how trashy his armor looks like, no matter what weapon he is holding, no matter what crap legion he is from. This is the basic and most important advice I can give you.


*Always turn Slaughter ON (since it’s pvp lol)
*Always have your running scrolls/ attack speed scrolls ready / Crit strike scrolls ready.
*Always have a portal scroll (if you dislike dying) ready.
*Always watch your back every 5-10 secs.
*Always travel with your DP gauge full. (if possible)
*Make it a habit to ready your REMOVE SHOCK skill when you are traveling. (they are everywhere, and they are stalking you. LOOL)
*Always ready your <Lesser Healing Potion> <Greater Healing Potion> for Debuffs/ Godstones/ DOTs

*****And the most important thing is….*****

Part I.

1 v 1

Gladiator vs. Gladiator
-perhaps the most common scenario in GamezAion, since 50%-60% of the population are Gladiators.





Let’s start of with diff scenarios.

-Direct contact- (you see the enemy glad, he/she sees you also, 1-1)

*****Buff your Unwavering Devotion.

After that, you can start with a million possible combinations. In this case, I’ll just put 2-3

He has UD
-If the fight drags longer than that, that means your enemy used Wall Of steel and some healing skills.
If you get somewhat in trouble, just use Wall of steel, Second wind, Improved Stamina, Abyss Potions etc.
If you have a hard time killing him, just make sure you can stay alive until his UD goes off.
When his unwavering devotion goes off, just use the He has no UD scenario guide.
Remember to use Explosion of Rage after his UD is gone (that is if you have DP points)

He has no UD
-After Crushing blow your enemy will surely use Remove Shock (pray that he doesn’t so it’ll go smooth)
After he uses Remove Shock there are two things that’s gonna happen, 1. After remove shock he buffs UD, 2. After remove shock he forgets UD. If he buffs UD, just switch your combo to He has UD scenario.
If he doesn’t (you’re lucky he’s stupid) Then follow through with the He has no UD scenario.
Note* After ankle snare he might use Strengthen wings, if he does use that, just switch the 1st cleave chain to Aerial lockdown, then Follow-up from there. The fight won’t last long if he really forgets about UD.
Don’t forget to use Explosion of Rage in between Combos for a good stumble lock (that is if you have DP points)

If He hits 1st
-Then he probably has a lower ping than you or something must have gone wrong with you or your computer for a moment, anyways, Just jump away and use Ankle Snare. He probably will use Strengthen wings to follow you, once that happens, just use Lockdown + Tendon Slice + jump back + Severe Precision cut (this combo is from He has UD) . After that, just follow either of the scenarios. GOODLUCK

Using pres cut in a duel as a glad is a bad idea... just saying, its a huge ass waste of time and the quickest way to lose a duel, well, no, SS is the quickest way to lose a duel, but you get my point.

 

see, where pres cut is placed....

right after tendon slice + making a distance right???

see where sure strike is placed...

on aerial lockdown with no more remove shocks... no ud... tskkk

 

pres cut has a range of 7m assuming non-extends, seismic has a range of about the same, if you immo someone, and proceed to cast PC and they run seis chain on you, or use strengthen wings, you're super ****ed. I'm not saying the guide is bad or anything, I just think its a very bad idea to use pc in duels, since the whole spc/ss skills are primarily PVE and their DPS is rather low compared to others.

Okay for 1vs1...against glad no UD.

Piercing rupture/shattering wave.
follow by earthquake then cleve---> force cleave, make sure your kiting, if he snare you use strengthen, the point of this is to slow your opponent down.
Lockdown---> ferocious combo---> crippling, draining and if your quick enough final.
Then use crushing to keep him down and do a sharpstrike chain--> if he is still alive use tendon slice while jumping back take a few distance and use SPC(screw sure strike) he can heal but it won't do much, a cleave combo can finish him off.


Glad with UD is tricky really since you can't stumble or aerial.

Just Piercing/shattering for a good -600 def, then slow him with earthquake then use cleave/force cleave, lockdown then hit him with anything that is hard enough ( don't use sure strike it's a waste of time )


BTW if your opponent has beserking on they die faster -50% def and -600 defense.

Here's the deal ... you can't stick with a pre-made combo ... since UD & remove shock can be popped ANYTIME ...

A decent PvP'er knows how to react to any happenings ... it's not like you can teach in 5 lines ~

 

Well the guide is only to give tips to inexperience players, but if they really want to experiment and get better is to pvp more or find a good training buddy.
