Unlocking Advanced Stigmas (12/14/10)

With the new update Crystal has recieved you now no longer have to do the Advanced Stigma Quests, some of which were bugged, or have to speak to Ashtar about getting your skills.

To get your Advanced Stigma's unlocked, all you need to do is complete the level 20 stigma quest.

Elyos - Sliver of Darkness
Asmo - No Escaping Destiny

Once you speak to the Stigma Master at the end of the quest, all of your Advanced Stigma slots will open. This does not mean your regular stigma slots will open also. Those still have to be obtained via leveling up.

Players who have already done the quest will find that their Advanced Stigma slots are already open. This is more for newcomers to Crystal.

Just visit the Cloister's of Kaisinel and Marchuthan to get your Advanced Stigmas. Each Advanced Stigma will show the prerequisites needed for that skill. Please make sure to follow them closely.

Note: If you are in need of stigma shards, the easiest thing to do is just do quests that give them, farm low level Abyss mobs, or make another character, take it to 20, and do the first stigma quest to get the 500 shards. Then you can transfer those to your main player. WE WILL NOT BE GIVING STIGMA SHARDS OUT.


This also means that Ash will have to remove the stigma skills she gave to you. This will be a pretty long process, but she will need to go through and speak to each of you again and remove the skills given to you.

** Sadly it seems players have already shown a reluctance to have their skills removed. Do not be surprised if she ninja-ports you to her to remove them.... And then consequently throws a ninja star in your eye for trying to hide.

 

If your goning remove them, can we get 500 stigma shards? It don't grow off trees.

 

is this for crystal aion only?

which is bad IMO ... not as bad as 100% trigger rates on chain skills tho.

 

No I will not be giving stigma shards. They arent that hard to get. Make a level 20 char and do one of the quests to get 500 shards fast or kill a bunch of low level mobs in abyss to get quickly also.

everytime i killed a mob in abyss, i receive a drop of 2-8 shards, can do abyss quests to

Wow. The fact you added skills to that many players and are now removing is crazy. *One hard ass working AM*. By the way I was talkin to Silverjack and he was telling me about some of the older players who equiped stigmas back when you didn't need the preqs. Will anything happen to them? It's still an unfair advantage. (not for me ofc just all the weaklings I pvp with)

 

i've heard of this bug - idk if is true but i've heard!!!

 

All I can do about the older players is to have other players report them to me so I can check their stigma skills and force them to equip them properly. That is a form of bug abuse actually.

That list is only the ones who received skills. You should have seen the list with the people who got quest items but never asked for the skills. :wink:

 

actuali i think some players from that list are prety old - were in 1.9 version also with full stigmas !!!

 

I only started adding skills when we went 2.0. Before that update we had //giveslots command.
