Disconnecting after 1 min....

Hi, I have a strange problem. Whenever I log in with one of my chars, I am able to use skills for 20 sec, after which all skills stop working and I get disconnected in 1 min.
I repaired the client...still the same.
Any ideas guys?

could be more things

unstable internet, unstable server, some1 said this happens when u loot a mob while it disappears (mobs on the first map disappear a LOT faster so it happens there the most etc. the server was really laggy yesterday with long delays on casting, ill try today see if i get it too

Not sure, sounds weird.. Uhm, make sure you have the latest directx, and your graphics cards drivers installed..

maybe delete your bin32, then do a repair through the ncsoft launcher. s:

 

My connection is perfect... checked. As much as I know other players do not experience such problems...so the server is....errr...all right(If gamez is ever all right...), I was dueling, so no moobs looting here. Will check again now.

 

The drivers and directx are up to date, that is not the problem. I repaired through ncsoft launcher (without deleting Bin32, though), didn't help.

 

Try it with, though it might not make much of a difference. Odd problem e.e;

just checked...the same problem.... It is weird that I connect to the server, login, choose one of my chars, get into the game,use skills for 10-20sec and then it happen....I stop receiving any chat msgs, can't use any skill and after 1 min get disconnected :S

 

Hmm, does your internet stay on? Or is it just Aion that's DCing?

 

My internet stays on everything else works great, just aion gets disconnected Thats will all the chars, i even tried creating a new one...still the same problem.

 

Humm tried googling, are you on a laptop connecting to a wireless router?

 

No, my PC is not a laptop, and I have a cable internet connection(fiber optics).

 

I'm reading a lot, people has this kind of issue because of their firewalls. If you have any on, try turning them off and rebooting.

 

I would agree... but I was playing WITH my antivirus and firewall soft on for months...why should it stop working just today?

 

I really dunno, does your antivirus have a firewall setup? Did it update recently? Did your OS update its firewall recently? Any random update like that might cause it

 

I didn't change/update anything. I am running Win7 x64 and have Norton Internet Security 2011 installed.

 

I think this is from server side...can any GM look into this?

I was right... This is Gamez problem... I just downloaded Infinite Aion launcher and could play the game normal. Please GMs, see whats the problem with my chars on the server side....

 

Any GM here?
