no i dont mean internet boost i mean the 1 called NetworkMon in the utility list, its different lol. and yes i know what the internet boost does xD

the network monitor is good for monitoring ur network traffic (download/upload speed and packet size) as well as separating it by program, so u can see which programs connect to the web and how much data they grab/send

the problem is that it was still in development when we tried it and yeah it screwed up browsers, preventing them from displaying any website. idk if they fixed it yet or not. we tested some custom fixes from them but idk if they were implemented in an update

 

i will try to download it and i will tell you if it work for me or no...

 

good luck ull need system restore if it screws up ur browser xD so make sure u set a restore point. i dont remember if some1 said uninstalling ACS fixed it back then, was a while back

can try restart ur pc after, see if it works even after i know it worked at first but then we got the browser issue

1 thing i really hate is that everything is doubled up thx to antivirus programs not being excluded >.> ur kaspersky scans everything uploaded/downloaded just like avast does for me lol

kinda funny since game booster has no influence over ping, just ur FPS

did u use the laetrix latency fix yet? if u did, thats what lowered it xD

btw the ping tends to jump up and down, usually i do it a few times to see the range it fluctuates in

btw why do u wanna format? if u half know what ur doing with ur pc, try run msconfig and startup utility and turn off all the crap that runs when ur pc starts (i said crap, not the necessary stuff, theres a difference) xD. thx to that i cut my startup time from 3 mins to a little over a minute

ofc it was not going to notice anything cuz usually i close it... it just start with windows that's why it there's on SS
about msconfig i have close all process and service that the system don't need..
the reason that i want to format is cuz my hard disk is full one more time..

 

have u heard of the delete button? its a good friend of mine ^^ lol much easier that reinstalling since ur gonna back up and paste back a whole lot of stuff anyways

 

yes delete is a good solution too.. but shift + delete is even better so if you delete something even if you change mind you can't restore it!

the problem is that i have download so many things that i don't know what each folder(s) contains.. so a format is better..
format on (D and everything i need back up on (C... and windows 7 don't need anything special to instal after format... windows update can find everything it need and it will take around 1-1:30h to finish everything.

ever heard of GetDataBack? or UndeletePlus? as long as its not been overwritten its still physically on ur harddrive and u can get it back if u choose to (just make sure u dont defrag in the meantime haha)

 

it require premium to let you get the data back (for Getdataback i don't know for UndeletePlus and about premium i know it's easy to find serial) and need 3 steps if i remember right that will take enough time to check the whole disk so during the scan i can download it again...

tbh i like undelete plus better, the latest version became paid (and cant find good torrents) but i have the previous one which works fine its a LOT faster than getdataback

 

but.. if you delete something and decide that was wrong you will wait for the scan to complete or just download it again??
Personaly i'm too lazy to wait for the scan...

 

tbh not all things can be downloaded again like personal files and such xD (savegames too)

personally im too lazy to wait for:
backuping data to finish
windows setup to finish
updates to finish so u can restart then update more
the setup of all the required software to finish
pasting the data back

lol id rather wait for 1 scan and restore it
