How?
Alente once developed a script where noone ca have more than 10b kinnah in their inventories, or warehouses. Together.
I really don't know what he did b4 leaving since I was playing other games at that time so I missed all the drama.
However, his script was the BEST idea so far.
Having a 10b kinnah Limit will surely stabilize market prices and people would stop charging 80b for a single enchant stone. Whis is retarded imo.

As I stated b4, I don't know what he did b4 leaving, nor if he flamed someone or smt else, however I must admit he was a good dev somehow, and that his script should be a MUST in this server.

Alente left Gamez due to his own personal reason, none of it was caused by any one. Some may think he left due to a specific person but that wasn't the case entirely.

Alente did a decent job at helping with "fixes" but when he left, he left the servers severly bugged. So even though all his hard work should be accounted for. The severity of each server being in the state it was, left the gamez community in a bit a .... confused state. Let me add in how he also got a new computer via donation to help with the "fixes" which he still decided to bounce out and leave staff.

 

What's most important? Talk about what Alente did last time, Did for us when before he leaves or Fix economy with that scrip?

I'm just speaking about that script since It's senseless to pay 70 b for smt.

 

Although it's not as bad, kinah rates on Luminel are still pretty ridiculous. I don't really agree with the 10b limit but it should be 100b or under. (100b is still reasonable if you're trading for ABG/Fenris sets, etc.)

Also I don't think the limit should be the sum of the characters and warehouses. If anything, set the mail/warehouse limit low, but if you use a sum formula then it'll get people confused about how much they have total, leading to "scams" when selling stuff that their inventories can't hold.

 

A cap is a great idea and would help stabilize the economy and something that should have been implemented some time ago IMO.

As for Alente, he left because of personal reasons and while some may blame his departure on other individuals, but keep in mind that he wasn't entirely innocent either.

He did a good job with fixes while he was here but they definitely weren't perfect, and there were still a lot of bugs around when he left.

 

how I miss the 1.5 days or when the economy was fair....

 

In all seriousness don't cap it under 100b please. That will cause so much rage among donators/rich people that I really don't want to deal with.

I also thought a cap was a good idea, but they actually put it in at one point. The result : Everything was being sold for the max amount.

That's why I think it should be capped, but at a relatively high amount.

 

i dont know but one way or another inflation will still go on
ie. taha drops every taha weap like in 1.5-1.9 or something >_< i remember it had all drops.
if there were npcs selling manastones at a certain price.
npcs selling balic mats like before.
and not to mention enchanting rate and manastone slotting rate is getting hard compared to 1.9 >_< .
