Not all SMs are gays coz some people created their SMs before they knew about fears and stuff.
I got a friend who created a SM on his first day playing aion :3
But whoever creates SM coz he can't beat him with his class then yeah , he is something more than G*Y

and when i pvp im always expecting someone to atk me , except for the moments i do stuff irl.

I did the same here.

I used to played with sm since 1.5 till 2.0. When fear even working like its supossed.

yea...but in my case never seen a sm that had the time to use that...and if the sm is not focused on you is kinda easy to kill as a ranger...in 1 vs 1 duel is another story...

 

yeah only people with hide really have a chance, even a sorc has no chance to silence him (or use anything really) coz fear is instant

 

never saw ranger beat sm -.-

 

Sin are the shadow x2 ....

 

Shadow Walk is advanced Stealth(Advanced Hide), Only Assassins got that.
Rangers only got the classic hide a sorc can see it for 10 seconds with boon of clairvoyance..
But it's not that
If u buy a pet , it alerts u when someone is near.... also if u use a second chat log with all "Enemy" Squares checked in the options of that chat log , u will be able to see whenever someone uses potions/buffs/etc if he is nearby (the radius of that is big , it detects someone even if he's out of ur minimap's radius)

and u don't even need all this... u just need to put the skills at the right place on ur quickbar(s) so u can press them fast by using buttons , not the mouse. If u are fast u can survive from a ranger easily..... expecially when your items are fully socketed with HP +95 manastones...

 

sm + glad today both high rank max lvl against me...killed them both...ofc shadow way XD and...i dont say that i wasnt killed by a sm....i was many times...

The 25m Range fear has 2.5 cast time dude
The instant cast one is 15m like our Sorcerers' "Illusion Storm"

Our problem is that they can use lesser healing potions =D

when i silence them they use the potion and they silence me back (but after silence i use root too)
and if they are fast they remove the silence before i cast root on them lol.
after root i use curse of weakness!

u just need to have -9% cast time scroll so u cast the silence before him x) now if he sees u first and atks first u are maybe dead =O u gotta be more than fast to survive... and i usually got 700MS so it's a guaranteed death for me lol. i can't even use the chain skill after remove shock with so much delay sometimes

well that applies only if he uses silence from far.. if he uses fear from close u are dead :O
and well... u can do the same (stunlock and kill him) if u atk him first of course

Fear is just fking Overpowered admit it lol

Its not like stun/petrify , coz it lasts for much longer
Its not like silence/blind , coz u can't move
Its not like Sleep coz u don't wake up after being hit
Its not like other debuffs that have a chance to succeed , it always succeeds (never fails , the opponent never resists it)
Its not dispellable with remove shock/lesser healing potion

What else?

At least , they should fix the Magic Accuracy if that's what causes it to succeed always...
Or lower it's success rate.
AND FIX THE GODDAMN MAGIC CRITICAL!!!!!!!!!!!
Or Disable Physical Critical >.< which will ruin the whole Server.


btw i noticed that in aion and lineage u can use items that increase physical critical chance but not magical
NCSoft sucks.

The sm had no chance...my way ,silence ,pew pew...dead...the glad...his reaction was a bit late but still ... got some of my hp...the thing was like this...that glad was killed before by me...and he came with his sm buddy....and...ofc waiting me in the area ...failed

 

They were probably noobs.

A good SM cannot be beaten by a ranger in a 1on1 fight.

Can u beat Spirit Substitution? Srsly...

he doesn't even need to fear u... with just Spirit substitution and some DoTs a ranger dies....

Anyway , i'm at least happy that they fixed the bug that spirit substitution had. I made a few duels with some random noobs at pandaemonium who barely managed to beat me with the spirit substitution bug (before it got fixed) and they were feeling pro lol.

now i sleep them (and root but after i make sure they used lesser healing potion) and kill their pet :O
even if it's earth pet , i can kill it with my sorc before he wakes up x))

Actually Sleep -> Stun -> sleep
and Sleep -> silence -> sleep

we have arcane thunderbolt/illusion storm/soul freeze

we still got a chance against them :O
