ABG Set Difference

get a 6 slotted masta cloth set= highest MR possible in game....

or if you have a stormwingcloth set that would be more awesome cause of its MR set effect
those gears above are only for dueling casters and stuff.. lol doesnt apply in PVP

and why do i like temps to wear chain? cause a l33t temp can tank many 1-2 parties even with an anuhart set only... and resist the ever annoying bursts of sorcs and the all time FEAR...

and why do i like glads to wear plate? thats because a good glad ignores melee/rangers 1st and murders sorcs/sm's instead....

 

Chain set with MR +14 is the best how can they kill if they cant hit you :biggrin:

 

ask any pro player on retail if u say chain for glad or a temp thy will say

 

thats because stigma system works there and not like here were sorcs burst damages are extremely ridiculous..... duh? this is not retail bro...

 

For a temp,chain will be better IMO,what's a temp's weakness? Getting stripped off buffs by a SM,ouch

Temps usually have a base of 1.1k MR,with Aether Armor that makes 2k,you can rarely see SM that has <2k MA
So you'll prolly get stripped off everything before you even start killing
so IMO Chain is the way to go

Then you be saying AMAGAD GLADS RIP THEM BEFORE THEY CAN GET TO TEH SM

Theres this skill called Shield of Faith,which blocks 10 attacks
And another buff called Barricade of Steel,which increases your block by alot,like alot alot

And it lets you flee easier,even though you have Charge,glads have it too,and they can ankle snare then rape the shit outta you
Have you tried resisting ankle snares before? Feels great,lol

So ok lets look at the skills

Iron Skin - Reduce damage taken
Empryean Armor - Heals and reduce damage taken
Shield of Faith - Blocks 10 attacks
Empryean Providence - Forms a shield that absorbs damage
Chatisement of Darkness - Forms a shield that absorb and reflects damage
Zikels Shield - Immune to physical attacks

all these can replace the physical def given by plate

while theres only 1 skill that can replace the MR given by chain
Aether Armor

Without this you're completely vulnerable to magic damage,especially spiritmasters,even though you have Zikels on

ok but most of the server Ranger, Glads and the rest so who is the one that u need to be gearing for physical attacks or magical??

 

i checked & saw abg chain set got some mr at the bonus stat not set effect, for the eat it only has mb as stat bonus, so i might get a eat plate & trade my abg plate for chain.

 

you can suck on aether armor on a full MA SM/a sorc who buffs SoF....

the rest was pretty well detailed /10chars....

 

i voted plate... u can have high deff and attack... although chain got high mr.. plate is the best set for glad/temp coz we have many glad/rangers on this server...

ABG plate set is better than, if u need high mr, can add manastone or use mastarius set (if can use stormwing plate set- mr set in game). I think mastarius set is the highest mr set, use that set when u need kill magical-class, and MCD set is the highest def set, (more than ABG set)... but u will not had PVP+def if use that. My oppion, if i'm gla, and i need kill sorc, SM, i will use mastarius set, not ABG. because sorc and SM is lower def, so u can kill them so fast if u had higher mr. (if u can silence them, it mean they so die). About ABG chain, i think gla, templar not need them. Lower psy def...

 

Plate was designed for warriors, can't see why you'd use anything else.

Not really, i see chanter wearing leather or cloth amor in war , so Gla/templar can wearing chain amor if need...
I had both, and if need, i will change it. No matter, no problem. Try it and u will see... ( if u use chain amor, add block or parry, Atk too)
