1.9-2.0 Stigmas System is needed?

It does ruin pvp reason why? Any Novice with full stigma rank9 can destroy you with 2-3hit, and how is that gonna be fun when everyone can 2-3 shot people in war.

And you keep forgetting that no one is ignoring those bugs, they just isn't as important as the stigma system.

And a stigma system will separate the pro from the con, so the Novice that just played yesterday won't just rape you in duels by spamming stigma every chance they get.

I think the only thing Carl should give to the autolearn-plz-player is more stigma slots, like 1 advanced stigma slot n 3 normal stigma more, dont know if it would make things more exciting though

 

i came here from a server where new stigma were implemented = it completely fucked up pvp and reduced server population with 1/3 ...

Don't misunderstand me, I'm all for the good of the game. But seeing you guys push this issue so desperately is making me wonder. I even see some newly created accounts here and there for the sole purpose of posting/voting in this thread. It's becoming pathetic.

The realms are becoming more and more retail like, it would not surprise me to see the stigmas return to normal.

 

Rifter. Crystal Aion is low-rate and retail like. if you even peaked at the skills you would know that a chanter with all stigmas will take NO DAMAGE at all i've calculated with a shield i will have upwards of almost 4k pdef along w/ parry/block/ magic resist and stun resist and i would take less than 100 dmg each hit for 30 seconds and be immune to 50-60% of your stuns. and if i had all stigmas like mountain crash and disorienting blow.. its gg man i can stunlock without using those skills in 1.5 only reason i lose duels is because i can't tank blows from targets out of stun. having both trees gives me exactly what i need even a glad in UD won't be able to touch me. If you honestly have looked at the skills and still think this is fair then you are sadly misinformed. This is not a Crystal Idea trying to set roots in Gamez it is a balancing feature that SHOULD and NEEDs to happen or else they won't have a population to vote for them or a population to donate and the server will crash.

Chloe. i do not know who is making new accs for this but i would stop them if i could because this should be a fair vote.

I would like to see a Dev put their input on this matter like rg does. or see this post locked and moved to a forum so it could be discussed by gms and devs or whoever holds authority in the matter. i of course can't ask you to do this as this isnt my thread but its my 2 cents on the matter

 

I personally am prepared either way. I REALLY hope that they do a stigma system... but if they don't I already have my elite pvp tome and cloth pvp set ready for what we all know is coming...

 

Actually Chlora posted somewhere I think about how he and some other staff think all stigmas will break the server also.

And PLEASE people, listen to the damn OP before you post here. This is not about 1.5 stigmas, this is about 2.0 stigmas. The server that other guy left from was probably a 1.5 server and could have been the reason.

And rifter, I made it clear that if you were not going to add anything useful to the discussion you might as well not post just for flaming purposes. Although I feel Gift's argument is useless, at least he is posting his thoughts while you jut flame endlessly.

The point of this rift is to demonstrate both sides' ideas. Do not discount one side simply because they do not agree with you. I have seen what Gift is trying to say, and I keep trying to tell him he is misinformed.

Like Socks stated, no other server on 1.9 exists with auto learn. All the servers that went 1.9 had to switch to stigmas simply to save the server.

If you guys have not looked at the stigma list for 2.0, I suggest you do look at it. I am not complaining that a chanter will be able to stun chain, or that a ranger will have high burst. I am complaining that a few classes will literally become INVINCIBLE, and that winning after being hit first will be IMPOSSIBLE. Gank squads will always have a HUGE advantage because of their INITIATIVE. NCSoft never wanted people to use all these stigmas.

@Beard, GMs and staff eventually have the last word, but I wanted this thread to see where the people stand on this issue. Obviously, there is lots of support. While I state that the server will die without this system, a migration of people is not a smart move either. At this moment though, it seems as if the stigma system will/should be implemented looking at the votes, the arguments, and just the basic facts.

I'm not all for the idea or against. I rather see how it all goes for a few days then make my mind. If pvp is destroyed then it is and changes will be made accordingly, but no ones knows for sure and I'm not willing to take a percentage, an estimate, only a sure chance.

 

80% of these post's are some people that cannot and/or did not read opening post.

I would just like to warn the GMs that people who voted with a low post count should have their votes be taken with a grain of salt. I want this to be a fair vote for each side, and it seems like a few members think it is fine to make new accounts and just vote for one side. Also, only half the people who read this thread voted....please understand that this thread's decision affects everyone and you should offer your input. Do not flame in this thread and keep it clean. We are trying to have a discussion, so unless you have something to offer boobes, just stop posting here. Do not pull people into a flame war.

Still the vote seems to be in favor of stigmas to a 3 to 1 ratio, once again DEVS or GMs please let us know what you guys are thinking. We will try to keep this poll up till the 21st.

 

actually sorc would hit 16-20k pvp damage with DP lvl55 skill = 1 hit kill , and there are few other chars who would two hit you , imo the server would be imbalanced and eventually die , like happened with the server i left for GamezAion .

Not to mention that it will appear ap bugs , etc etc ...
