    its not :p for quite a few reasons lol. read what i said above? xD

    look at the angle hes falling at
    look at the distance till the bottom

    its physically impossible to level out that plane without putting too much pressure on the wings which would break them off :p

    so either he should crash be4 he levels out or he should break off the wings and still crash xD

    I was off with the idea. I guess I was sleeping on this lecture but I searched a little on google and yes he could climb into the plane. But well good luck with the calculations and the proof.^^

    Actually to do this properly we'd have to know the exact speed of the plane, and the elevation it was at when it went off the cliff. Unfortunately the movie doesn't give us that info which would really support or bust this stunt.

    2:02 hes bout to run into a hill, 2:04 hes at a 45 degree angle still facing down. judging by the distance of the hill right in front of him at 2:02, he would never pull up lol

    There's only one way for sure to find out if this would work or not. We need a plane, a large mountain, and a "volunteer". *looks at Ryan*

    haha yeah

    ok if u want physics of catching up then try this. the bigger the surface area, the larger the friction (aka air resistance here) would be. the plane is HUGE while he is TINY therefore he could fall faster

    the angle he is falling at allows him to move forward to get closer to the plane (the plane got much further forward at start coz of the wings be4 it tilted down, he didnt get as far out on a bike therefore he needs to move forward as well, not just fall faster) im guessing 1 of the things ull need to explain is the forces that allow u to move forward (well diagonally) while u r falling (since gravity should pull u straight down not diagonally down)

    Velocity, Distance and Time

    Probably the most important formula in the course is also one of the simplest. It simply relates velocity (speed)gif with distance and time:

    V = d/t

    Since the units of velocity are length/time (m/s, miles/h, etc.), the dimensions of this formula are correct.

    Examples. If a bullet travels 1000 m in 2 s, what is its velocity?

    v = d/t = (1000m/2s0 = 500m/s

    How long does it take for light to travel to Earth from the nearest star other than the Sun? Here we need to rearrange the formula:

    v= d/t

    v x t = d

    t = d/v

    Plugging in numbers, d = 4.0 X 1016 m and v = 3.0 X 108 m/s.

    t = 4.0 x 10 to the 16th power m / 3.0 x 10 to the 8th power m/s) = 1.3 x 10 to the 8th power (s)

    very nice, missing the simple fact that u dont have a single number here xD cant see the speed, the height, even the proper angle most of the time xD

    Its honeslty not that difficult lol. Could use intro level physics if you gather the datas together.... seriously o_O;

    *throws up hands and walks away*

    Liez!!

    Anyways the main thing about this would be if he was able to get the plane to pull up in time, as catching up to the plane in freefall would be no problem at all, but in order to do this we still need to know the elevation and speed.
