Aion 2.5

So, I don't know if any of you guys know this yet but on January 4th 2011 the guy who brought us Aion spoke about Aion 2.5. We're getting closer to Aion not being a big fat baby MMO and a bit more complex. He's talked about bringing in the residential area and upgrading the graphics moar. The crafting system's difficulty will go down, and materials will be cheaper (you know those vendors Baleyg).

Repetitive quests wont be so repetitive. (Yeah some rep quests are actually useful and important you know)

New pets and moar wings.

2.5 will go onto the Korean PTS server on January 6th 2011. ;O I just thought I'd do what I do best uhhh.....cock tease you all. And I mean cock as in CHICKEN not...what you probably are all thinking. ;D

That's where I get my info from. I dunno but I am so tired of ppl QQing so quickly and hard about Aion when they play on Official servers about oh this sucks this and that is broken it levels so slow the drop rates are low QQQQ....

Honestly, Aion is still a baby guys please keep that in mind. You can't expect the devs to know exactly what they wanna put out there right away in my opinion the game has a lot of potential and the cap is only 55. Imagine what it'll be like when the cap is 100 and I'll be 40 years old and my KIDS will be playing Aion! I don't know but in MY opinion ....MYYYYYY....Opinion, I think the devs for Aion are going in a good direction with the game they've listened to some requests of their fans, raising drop rates in 2.0/2.1, making things easier, lowering prices, blahblahblah.

It's the same for these private servers, they may not fix what you want right away but at least you're playing the game for free somewhere somehow. At least here you don't have to devote your entire life to grinding to 55 and grinding instances.

TL;DR - Aion 2.5 is being released in Korean on PTS January 6th and you can't have it cos you're all spoiled brats! lol

The only problem I think now is about the graphic. Will my PC enough to run it?

Beside graphic, I also need to think about the data size that I'll have to download. But they said it will be separated patch that will be slowly distributed to players, so.... Let's wait for 2.5

 

They mentioned something about making 2 different ones one that doesn't upgrade the graphics and one that does. My computer is TERRIBLE already so I'll definitely will be going with the not so pretty Aion. My computer..... You would have your jaw drop to the floor if you knew what I play with. Lolol

 

if u ask me y i play in P. server coz i think of the game its still in beta even after 2.1 but if its become more interesting in 2.5 i think i will say to Gw2 good bye

 

if u would read the links that guy provided, so u would see that ncsoft will release 2 clients for good pcs and for not so goods pcs.

 

woohoo i like the new 2.5, well i have Nvidia GTX 460, & a republic of gamers motherboard i hope it's enough to run it.

I just got NVidia 9500 GT, Core 2 Duo E4600 at 2.89 GHz, 2 x 2Gb DDR2 RAM.

At least the ways Aion's graphic now is quite good already. :x

 

using i7 870 xD, well not sure if i could reach the max graphic in 2.5, coz i sometimes get send log when it's like a zerg of 50 vs 50.

 

1. well besides the graphics, a lot of it is just rates and prices which can be adjusted here anytime
2. repetitive quests not being repetitive doesnt matter here coz they r simply broken anyways xD
3. upgraded graphics might be nice but its still a MMO so good that there will still be the old version around coz many of us cant run the new one (laptops r weak)
4. with updating here...im not so sure. updating to 2.1 broke half the things that used to work on this server, have a feeling 2.5 wont be any better at that. our devs arent gonna code all the new stuff themselves so essentially they will grab a whole lot of open source code from lightning aion project (which is bugged like hell) and overwrite our own server files...

 

Next Time just post the video rather than writting a book.

Anyways thats just aion VISION its what NCsoft hopes aion will be someday.

If you took the time to read what the links provide then you would see that they mention that the developer talks about 2.5 and in my TL;DR at the end of my story telling, that 2.5 is going to be on Korean PTS January 6th. Not AION VISION 3.0 YOUTUBE VIDEO.

 

aion 2.5 on gamez = take the current number of bugs and multiply them by 2.5 xD (thats if we get lucky)

 

Eh we wont be getting 2.5 for a while. US server will prolly get it in the summer.

 

OO my.. i want that, I hope gamez goes for the full graphics version, i have been waiting for that since the first time i saw Aion.

Well, bugs and broken stuff will come like a tsunami wave... make no mistake about that.

 

if thy make lvling easier i am go for it coz lvling in retail is like just time consuming not challenging at all
