ii start very good i try to make up with my grades in the school

 

Started good, cleaning up friends vomit and dealing with lightweights.

grades are so pointless when it comes to your future -.-. They only help you get into college, which is essentially just branding yourself. IMO at least.

College is important though, considering you need that slip of paper they give you after a couple of years to prove you can work in a field, regardless of if you knew it before.

 

That would be what I mean by branding yourself. Harvard grad is taken because he is from harvard, not because he has a certain skill set. Its the name. But those people never earn BIG money, just adequate. College names and big salaries often do not correlate.

 

I worked my ass off in school, got good grades, joined the military, serverd in the middleeast, was in real combat, went to college, got certified as an EMT, and so far I'm just working part time and living in my parents basement. Grades and college are overrated.

thats the point, most harvard grads just end up going to work for big corporations. With the recession, its even worse. You really only need to learn how to

A) communicate --> rhetoric from school
B) Basic math ---> No need for integrals, derivatives, etc. Multiplication, addition, division, etc. You can use calculators in life.
C) Basic economics --> Consumerism.


You could have a high IQ and a MBA from a brand school, but in the end, its talent that will make you shine, not education.
