Calculate Magical Critical Rate

    Hi,

    can some please tell me what is correct magical critical rate? I'd like to know formula for it.

    probably same as for normal critical, just magic critical stat wont be high enough to crit 50-70% of spells.
    also take in account that critical spells deal only 50% more damage than non-critical and if dot-type spell crits on 1st hit - dot ticks should be critical as well.

    This is a chance to crit with a spell, either direct damage or a tick on a damage over time spell. The formula follows:

    10 Crit Spell rating = 1% chance to crit with Magic.

    Magic Critical Multiplier = 1.5x

    This appears to work the exact same as physical Critical Strike in most respects."

    Here is table with physical critical chance and physical critical chance with crit resist(this crit resist is from enchant armors. 130 crit resist = +10 armor , 195 crit resist = +15 armor)

    Same system for calculation is use for MAGIC CRITICAL. Magic critical DMG should be 150% normal magic attack. It is 50% more than you give with normal attack. For example: 136 magic dmg with normal hit and 204 magic dmg with critical hit.

    what do u think about those ??

    Physical defence:
    10 pdef = -1 damage

    Magic resistance:
    10 more magic resistance than your enemy has magic accuracy = +1% chance to resist (Not capped)

    Evasion:
    10 more evasion than your enemy has accuracy = +1% chance to evade (capped at 30%)

    Parry:
    10 more parry than your enemy has accuracy = +1% chance to parry (capped at 40%)

    Block:
    10 more block than your enemy has accuracy = +1% chance to block (capped at 50%)

    Healing boost:
    10 healing boost = 1% increase. (capped at 1000 = 100% increase)

    Critical hit before 440:
    10 crit = 1% increase

    Critical hit after 440, but before 600:
    20 crit = 1% increase.

    Critical hit after 600, but before 1000:
    50 crit = 1% increase (1000 has been considered the cap, so max crit rate = 60%).

    Stun/abnormal state resist:
    10 stun resist/abnormal state = 1% increase

    Elemental defence:
    10 elemental defence = -1% from damage (1000 = around -90% damage and that's the highest it gets)

    Critical resist:
    10 critical resist = -10 from your enemy's crit rate.

    Critical defence:
    10 critical defence = -1% damage from enemy's critical hit.

    Magical Boost (Capped at 2600):
    Your character's magic boost divided by your characters knowledge/10 = % increase
    For example sorcs:
    base knowledge = 120, if you want 100% increase you need +1200 magic boost.
    cleric's base knowledge is 105, which means they only need +1050 magic boost for +100% increase.

    Magical critical hit:
    10 = 1% increase (most likely exactly same as physical critical hit)

    Attack speed:
    The lower you get it, the faster it is. (Capped at 50% of the weapon's attack speed. For example if you have a bow it's 2.4, meaning the max attack speed is 1.2)

    Attack:
    Basically +1 green attack = +1 damage in PvE (+0.5 in PvP)

    btw is that mantra working coz i think not sure some them not effecting anything on the other players states in the party

    so?? one hit of Glacial Shard almost 7k the crit almost 10k so i think this fair

    actually thats incorrect :p

    ur ignoring the fact that the 7k glacial is with 3,100 MB which we will no longer be allowed to have. with 2,600mb its gonna be like 5-6k normal and 7-8k crit

    some say that ATM in Gamez.. all magic attacks are in crit.. that's the reason why crit spell is disabled.

    so.. GS 7k damage is on crit...

    thats wrong too :p
    crit was disabled mainly coz it was bugged lol, the reason we had a higher mage cap than retail was due to mage crit not working

    they lowered the cap now because mage crit got fixed and will be applied today or tomorrow

    - actuali i don't think the spell cryt is same with cryt strike rates - lol c'mon !!!!!!!!
    Till now was disabled !!!!!! No attk was in cryt !!! Sorcs maked hight dmg only for one reason : 3.1k mb !!!!!!!
    In retail sorcs make huge dmg in cryt !!!!- in cryt a good geared sorcceror pass 7k lmao with gl shard wtf !!!!!!!!
    Also i think formula that was posted earlier was like this - 150cryt / then 300 cryt (lol how a sorc can reach more that 100 cryt ?- lol wahaahah that was funny)-
    And finali will be like in retail !!!!!! weew - finali fair -
    Also i play on cristai but how we get same update as u do well .... !! ;p
    btw i palyed on a server like retail - idk if i can't say the same so ;p - and 25% of the spells were cryt(and i didn't even had gear that add cryt spell lol) - also server is 100% retail like!!!!!!-
