    fear in retail,

when you get feared the feared character runs away in the oppisite direction of the Spiritmaster,

fear shriek effects whoever is 15 m around you.

I play retail and I have a lvl 55 sm.

First of all fear doesnt affect everybody within 15m it only afects 6 targets. meaning if thers 3 mobs and 6 players around chance are u will only fear 3 players and 3 mobs.

Second the speed reduction from fear doesent work properly in pvp. If the target has speed scroll on and u fear him u wont be able to cast anything because it runs too fast.

And no FS doesent have 25m range on retail only 15.

what you say is perfectly correct but what's the point in fixing it if the feared person will walk throw walls?
Sm's in retail had a plan before fearing their target.. they were aiming to fear the guy in front of a wall so the feared target was runing into the plain wall but on this server the target will just walk throw the wall

You both misunderstood me, whatever direction is fastest to get away = opposite way the caster is.

Not true. In retail, level counts for debuff resistance. I've pulled a whole room in dredgion, while an SM in the party fear shrieks, and both mobs and the opposing party were feared.

And for those who think running away when feared is a buff to you, think again. When you are feared, we can change our angle towards you and steer you to a wall, or to a zerg, whichever is available. All it takes is a few steps to the left or to the right and you go running the opposite way. We can jump in front of you and send you going backwards. Or run in circles around one feared target, you imagine the rest.
