Graphics Card help

    Hello guys, I need the help from the computer experts in here. I have an ATI 5830 card and running on I-5 with 4 gig ram. I am wondering if anyone know the best setting for aion to reduce graphical lag. I get spikes sometimes. There is this function about the anti-alias and some other stuff. If anyone can tell me how to tweak the settings for best gameplay in aion or do I need to buy dual graphic card and add in a bit of ram. Please suggest. :p

    Well my friend has a toxic, and he gets lag spikes too. It's because of the anti-aliasing. He could handle anti-aliasing x8 easily but it makes him lagg. Try turning this off.

    Do you mean turning it off in game or from the graphics card software ? My in game anti alias is x0

    Just turn off anti aliasing or go crossfire 2 ati cards =)

    Do you have the ati catalyst it controls your video card optimal settings..

    shh lol has nothing to do with his graphics card. its lagg coz of the net speed when it doesnt manage to load stuff fast enough

    damn lol i have a laptop card WAY weaker than his and it runs bout the same with x8 as it does without
    (Geforce GTX 260m)

    even now i run on max settings lol (without AA coz i hate listening to my fans)

    yeah i do have ccc. atm i didnt tweak anything regarding the anti-alias. please teach me more. :p i kinda set everything to high and overcloak it too.

    oh so its my net ? yeah i do have 300 ping latency due to the fact that I am far away from the server.

    My main comp broke I'm using a integrated card now I only get as low as 20 FPS and my ping is still 70ms I lag hella XD

    Well since I'm only using a intergrated video card now I turned off my anti aliasing from my own card in the catalyst idk if it helps.

    hmm i tried using x8 and so far i noticed the fonts are a bit distorted and lines appearing beside every word. hmmmm
