Getting Balic Mats, between Hard to Impossible?

    what's the deal with gathering mats such as <Firm Balaur Horn> or <Solid Balaur Scale> for crafting?

    each mob has 130k hp and a 50% chance to drop the material.. and im supposed to get over 500 of em? like that's going to happen..
    if someone knows of a better way of getting them, please, enlighten me :)

    I farmed the Solid mats in DP. I don't know about the Firm ones.

    DP for solid.i had to ninja into ingrison to farm Firm i know a spot where mobs dyes in 1 hit and always drop solid and firm :D i wont tell ya hahaha
