    Ok, So I am just about fed up with this, although it worked fine before.

    Whenever I change my graphics via. Options for example Shader Quality or anything else that requires a client restart.
    I restart my client.. and there is no change.. all my changed Graphic Settings stayed the same from my previous settings.
    IE:
    I have texture at.. -----------------||
    I change it to....... ---------||--------
    I relog to see....... -----------------||

    Idk If it's something I'm doing wrong or client or w/e, my settings aren't saving..
    Any Suggestions?

    curious as to how u "restart" the client. make sure u didnt check the "fixed fps" box. kinda sounds like ur settings file is on "read only"

    if nothing else helps, do what everybody else does, repair in the ncsoft launcher

    I did repair it and fixed fps is off.
    Its weird because I was always able to do it before.. I'm doing whatever I can right to try to fix it x.x

    try apply the settings, close ur options and reopen them, see if it stays with what u chose. btw do u just close the client with the ingame function and then run it again?

    also did u update ur graphics driver recently or anything? ur graphics driver is quite capable of choosing ur "recommended" settings for u in games (which is a real b!tch coz it usually chooses wrong >.>)

    I updated it, but it was 2 weeks ago ish, this started probably a few days.
    And yeah, I close with the ingame func.

    I guess new drivers may have done it :X

    i got this problem when my client crashes,after that all the selections are back to default

    try those maybe help you

    delete the shotcut(funny but maybe the shortcut is read only)
    properties of gamezaion.exe and see if it is read only
    change the values you want,apply,ok,logout and then quit

    also check throu nvidia menu if it is selected the -leave the application to deside for graphic-or somethink like that

    @ssjgr the only time graphics settings reset to default is if u changed them and crashed without closing the client regularly and comingback. if u already closed it and reopened, a crash shouldnt reset anything. besides, he said he didnt crash, just closed the client. still thinking

    w8 you confuse me,you dont see ingame differences or your client cant save the changes?
    I tell my opinion about setting save

    try to run game as admin direct from .exe and see if it save?

    maybe you got multiple profiles at your pc and your it isnt the admin profile and dont give you write access to applications

    i think i found it

    "This is a problem that occurs whenever your computer has a hardware change after AION is installed. It detects that the hardware configuration is different that what is listed in its registry key, and then reverts to some default setting. The fix is pretty simple but requires you to edit your windows registry.

    First, make sure AION is not running, then open your start menu and search for, or click run for XP users, regedit.exe. Then navigate to

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Aion\Client

    Under this key should be 1 folder called SystemInfo. Simply delete that entire folder, close regedit, and restart your AION client. Change the settings as you would have them, then close and exit the game. Voila, next startup your preferred settings should be saved."

    if u didnt change ur hardware, updating ur graphics driver might make it think u did
