Oh and i did read it... as it been stated in the official event thread this is a BETA so yup this whole thing is just to see how it will work out and how to prepare for the next one.

Do remember that the GM's are also people.. with lives (unlike you i presume)...

imagine a beta event

u need to mail the gm at 11h or 17h...

than i give the prize for everyone that send em at 11h and the other one i gonna say for the one that send at 17... it was a beta gm,... i dont want to give u the iten...

a beta event does not mean they can do this...

when a player make a mistake we need to deal with it...
i think when the staff make a mistake they also need to deal with it to...

Are there second round or not?

 

Now I may still be missing something, but Im going by the actuality of the time given as opposed to assumptions.

I live in the GMT-8 time zone.

I was on before the original deadline last night, and now I'm on in anticipation of the new 12pm deadline.

According to all my clocks/computers/phone, the time is currently:

Saturday January 22 -- 10:42am -- GMT-8.

Now I'm not going to play the blame game. If I missed the event based on some detail I overlooked, then its my fault. I have no problem admitting to that.

However, the updated time said 12pm GMT-8. If this is correct, I still have a one hour and 15 minutes to go before the deadline.

Ultimately, all I want to know is if I missed it, may I please get an official statement from a GM saying so. It doesnt do us any good stipulating the if's/and's/but's about it.

Regardless of the fact, I will be sending the GM an in game mail at 11:58am (two minutes before the supposed deadline) with what I have and see if I made it.

In the end, this is just a game. A FREE game. We should all be fortunate and thankful for that in itself.

 

Okay the HGM Beta Event is officially closed now... After 2h and 40m im done porting and giving prizes to 60+ elyoses (including late participants) and GM fynie in Asmo side and Lumiel too. Sorry to Lumiel server for the lateness because you know so many players in Siel please understand that... Sadly to say some players dont have a long patience so many are offline maybe better luck next time then. Umm for those who didnt catch up on the event well I did my best to announce here and ingame how to participate, I tried to accomodate all but sadly my mailbox is full and giving prize is time consuming. I saw now the different error on this event so hopefully the next will be better.

So is the second one happening or not? You posted two times GMT +8 which was 3 hours ago and GMT -8 12pm. And GMT -8 is in 1 hour, so what's happening with that?

 

Sadly that GMT-8 is one of my error there coz i dont know that the two GMT's are not the same... so thats my stupidness there and Im sorry for that D:

cause i was waiting for you to announce it, then i would have sent int my mail 2 u, but now its apparently too late....
so, officially over, wasnt there supposed to be a 2nd round?

it is a BETA Event so you need to test it first before u get the actual error sir... and there will be no second round coz many players got joined and participated on that event so for me its successful... but the only or main error there is me putting a wrong GMT there so all in all i can say that many appreciated that event.

 

tbh Bryne, you can still do the second round, which is in about an hour or so, to make it up for the rest of us who were waiting for your announcement in-game or on the forums.. (Lumiel)
