Ending your life is never a solution, despite how good it may seem at the time. If you're going to attempt, and you fail, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. Running from your problems, doesn't help either. So, dismiss that completely now and for the future.

I don't have the best parent in the world either. So, I know where you're coming from. In all the times I've seen my father, we've gotten into a fight somehow. My mom, eh... long story. Rather not share it over the forums either, you can IM me whenever, and we'll talk about that.

Regardless, do what I did. Push through it all, whatever they throw at you fend it off and keep on moving until you're ready to go out to your own. Take every fight as a lesson. Give yourselves examples on what you should not be every time.

 

Abuse is abuse and depression is only one repercussion of it. As she/he has already stated, its been going on for years so he/she needs to contact a professional for help. As a parent myself, I'm quite concerned about this situation.
Abuse can leave a victim feeling very alone and embarrassed that it is happening to them. For a teenager, needing to contact and actually talk about what is happening is quite mortifying so I hope regiix has the strength to do this.

As I've read the OP , it's hard to give you any kind of personal pieces of advice since I do not know what was the subject of your arguement with your parents .

- sigh - The mother in me wants to grab you and hug you and tell you everything will be okay. Just read through everyone's advice for you and decide on a course of action. All of us can talk to you until we're blue in the face but having the strength to help yourself is something only you can make a decision on dear.

To regii, I love you dear <3 don't even think about it, plenty of people have already given you great advice, so the best thing I can tell you is listen to them, they're right. And take the fact that this has gotten to so many pages as a sign that people really do care about you, we love and are here for you in best way we can be. ^^

 

Actually it is kinda hard when there is as big fight between children and there parent's, things can also go way to far meaning it also can turn into physical abuse which does take its toll on the child.
I for one can relate to what Regiix3 has posted as i too spent 15 yrs of my childhood which i never saw as it was spent fighting with parents most of which was physical abuse.
It got so bad that i did actually try to take my own life 7 times and failed, at the time i thought it was my only option as most of us do its just one of those spare of the moment things.
Eventually i plucked up enough courage and strength to stand upto both my parents which in its self was a mission and a half so to speak.

I managed to go and find someone that could help me to get away from all this rage/abuse at home, things did start to look brighter after this happened. And to this day i'm greatful to the lady that did put a stop to all of it and we still keep in touch to this day.

I will say this Regiix things do look bad now but they will eventually pick up again you just gotta be strong and if needed go out and find someone like i did to help even if its only to talk to them every little thing helps.
