[Guide] Izzz's duel/build Sorc guide

well hello there ...lemme teach u my duel combos

1st let's talk about build ... im full abg and i use a magic resist build ..and 6 mboost stones .... so with robe of flame i have 2600 mboost (cap ) and 1935 mresist

why magic resist? ... well u actually resist =>
other sorcs/sms/clerics
ranger-sleep/silence
glad - ankle snare
sin - silence

builds
hp build ?....maybe but not so usefull sorcs are squisy
mboost? ... no need ...mboost its not such a good stat and u get enough from gear
macc?... yes and no... maybe if u have a second set.... its good to know u wont miss any spell but on the other hand u have supplication of focus (gives 1000macc for 20sec) ... this server is overpopulated by glads/rangers ...so u wont need that much macc

2nd ok lets begin with the duels

Before each duel..when u see 3..2...1 timer buff with vaziel wisdom and supplication of focus ( not allways needed )

Sorc Vs Sorc

i dont like this combo ... its like 1st skill landed = win ...soo
use vaziel + sof ( supplication of focus) + magic boost + awakening scroll

2 start options .... illusion storm or soul freeze .. usualy use soul freeze ( illusion has 5 min cd ... why waste that cd ...use it in more wisely )

SORC VS CLERIC

most clerics have mres builds ... so if u use focus a good cleric will try to run away from u till your buff is gone ..then u will get only resists sooo...

usualy sin die fast ....but if u meet a pro sin ...he will use that dodge 2 magical atks soo

Chanter can use some imba buffs ..i did all nukes on buffed chanter and took half hp then he healed sooo

Advices:
1) map you remove shock key on your keyboard i use " ` / ~ " key
2) in real pvp remember to use elemental ward as much as possible
3) in real pvp when u see zerg dont run ...ure gonna die anyways , soo use boon of iron clad + wintry armour + target a ranger > and fast arcane soul freeze rock frost ...then blind leap illusion and maybe ull get away or try to kill another one
4) do alchemy and make your own pots/scrolls ... i spam running / awakening / crit spell/ spell resist/ strike resist ....allways use lots of pots to survive + healing potions
5) if u have group when pvping try to spam aoe skills


other things
as u can see i never use aether hold ..most ppl remove sock and u wont have time to do the whole aether hold combo ..so just use the big dmg skill from chain... or use soul freeze before you do your arther hold chain

try to get 6 slot gear ....medals are easy to get now

if u have abg gear use crit spell ...i have 162 crit with scroll 262 with buff and belive me I CRIT ALOT and its cool

many of the combos i showed u are for flawless victory ....and u wont need to use the hole combo ( many will die before the combo will be finnished)

u really need to be fast with combos ...practice makes better

once you will master the duel combos u will be better in real pvp

l.e. in real pvp
if ure in someones target use blind leap ..they will lose target (press tab and pick up anothet target )
if u saw a sin or ranger going into hide near u ...use winter binding
use illusion + wintry + illusion storm against multiple targets

Why not some PvP?

 

?? what do you mean ?? ... combos for pvp? ... well when a sorc will master the combos in duel he will be faster in real pvp and know better what skills to use

 

duels are duels;; PvP is completely different.. you cant really apply wut you know in dueling in PvP

 

well ure templar ... my combos are veeeeery fast ...once u master the combos u can change them and use your own stuff .... ofcourse u wont have time in real pvp to cast sleep + magma + delay .... but u wont be alone .... usualy u can do one fast combo on a ranger then nuke what u can ...if u get in someones target blind leap then nuke again

i see most ppl go for nukes casts from the begining .... dont do that u will get intrerupted and die ...

if u see a ranger with a glad for exampple ....u can 4 shot 2sec the ranger then u have time to kill the glad with no problem

dunno i find it easy to play with sorc... i wasnt affraid to die...allways charged zerg or multiple enemys .... i died allllllooooot.....but learned and killed many more over time


btw DONT BE AFFRAID TO DIE....i hate it when 30 ely are scared to jump when 20 asmos are waiting

Plus its more fun dueling in elyos if your using sorcs coz in asmo you actualy dont need a combo anymore just press all the big bombs then its finish.

i prefer dueling in elyos. This is just my opinion. i play in both sides. ^_^

i pwned u too .... i know when u say u pwnd me .... when i was with zerg and u were alone and u charged me and killed me then the other players killed u .... ( escuse now .... i was playing from my work laptop where i have 15 fps and lag --- everybody from illusionists/playskool knows that ......but yeah u pwnd me nice i was with 15 elyos and u were alone ......but i pwnd u too in 1 vs 1 haha)

p.s sleep storm + magma + delay + illusion + glaciar + soul freeze + flame spray + arcane + blind leap + rock + frost = flawless victory against templar

I think you miss the point of the guide, is to give Ideas. Dueling or In PVP is pretty much same rules and situations, Reason people also duel is to learn different scenarios, not every one in dueling world knows what they are doing, so if you keep fighting nooblets then when you encounter a pro, you will not really know what to do, so dueling is another line of experience to encounter good players, and layout some experience.

 

LOL! I don't like this guide at all tbh.. I mean srsly in sorc vs sorc duels u expect to win with those few hits? when sorc uses elemental ward and boosts his elemental defenses up? aethers hold is pretty essential, this is why you cast it when ur guy is silenced so he can't remove it... meh.. no wai, not even gonna comment further^^ Anyway I can appreciate a work you put into this... no, really.!
