NCSoft launcher problems

Hi All, Im new to this server and for the past 3 days i have been trying to install Aion, however when i use the ncsoft launcher it always freezes at 97% , even when i cancel the installation, remove folder from programs and retry again, it freezes at 97% , any ideas what could be causing this and is there an alternative?

 

u can download the client as a torrent and then just link it with ncsoft launcher (and possibly repair). btw make sure it really does freeze and isnt just getting a big file or something

also make sure u have enough hdd space, aion takes up quite a bit

 

thanks will try the torrent option, i thought at first maybe its downloading a big file, but not so sure any more , tried to thank you but couldnt find the thanks button if there is one

well as smartik said, get some free space on the hard drive. For a peaceful playing for a game like Aion you'd need at least 6+GB free space , unless you wanna get whirled up in a lagg-fest. Also, the file that's getting downloaded might be corrupt, i've tried multiple ways with lots of problems...and as smartik said, the torrent seems to be the fastest+ most reliable, if the client won't launch make sure either way to use the launcher to repair/update. .
