Nah, I'm just a bit sick of having bad luck is all. Well not luck exactly, but the idea is similar. Either way, to me psychology is all mumbo jumbo, I'll get through it in time.

Bolded part. I may not be your greatest fan. But nobody deserves the worst..

I don't think he needs psychological help, I think he needs someone to talk to is all. Like i said above, I may not be your greatest fan, but my ears are alway open to listen.

Alrighty brat, you are bringing to tears reading your post, cake. lol **drinks pepsi**

I actually do believe that to a certain degree.... I believe that we all somewhat have our roles inherited and given to us:
    -Genes
-Epigenic factors (such as parents, how much money you have, etc.)

But I do beleive on another sense that we can alter our own personal "fate" by breaking through with cognitive actions... such as determination, perseverance, loyalty, compassion, etc....

But then again it is QUESTIONABLE if those traits are actually inherited / based upon the persons own "will". Will in itself may be inherited....

Although one with even the most menial of genetic backgrounds would easily bve able to tell you that there is no such thing as the "kind" gene or the "determined" gene... genes affect the tiny parts that contribute to a persons overall neural circuitry and thus it is theoretially posible that if a person had a gene that particularily encoded for their prefrontal lobe (VERY simplified example, lol!) That these people would likewise have a fair probability to be: irrational, moody, short-fused, apathetic as well as other factors. So in that regard it could affect it.

(Look up the case of Phineas Gage who suffered damage to his prefrontal lobe and survived... he had significant personality and habitual alterations. This is also the case in decorticated cats which suffer from "Sham-Rage"... where they will react "inappropriately" and aggressively without even the slgihtest provocation given to them.In this sense we could determine that the prefrontal lobe could somehow be modified by genetic factors and those factors show up in a person who shows these obvious traits.)

So in that light it is quite possible with out beautifully "structured" society that we live in, coupled with genetic and epigenetic factors that are "out of our control" as a whole... that indeed the word "fate" is more than real. Then again for people who do realise thhings that are "in their control" and that which is "not" in their control....

Whos to say that you really are in control?

Now THAT is a question that will have anyone with a slight introduction to phylosophy, neurosceince, psychology... any of those fields... up in arms. =3

More scientific than I was looking for. You should read Outliers, interesting book that states similar things.

Total control doesnt exist... same as freedom.

Everything is cause and consequence, just be self aware of that... there is a turning point for everything, you just need to see it, and you ll break of the circle you are i now... then you ll fall into another one... but that one might be of your liking.
